14U ND Attack: AAU Preview

<p>This crew could be one of the best in the Midwest. Put this ND Attack on the top of your priority list!</p> <p><strong>Team Notes from coaches <em>Bryce Laxdal</em></strong>:</p> <p>“We should be a pretty physical team with lots of options to score in the post.  Games where we can consistently knock down the outside shot, we will be very hard to beat.  We will have some good length and some guys who have already played some important Varsity games will help us compete this summer.”</p> <p><strong><u>Roster</u></strong></p> <p><u>Comments from Coach <strong><em>Bryce Laxdal</em>:</strong></u></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1165097" first="Ben" last="Gudajtes"] (2025) |5-10 G| Midway/Minto</strong> - Lefty, who can score inside and out.  Played some varsity minutes this past year.  Should be able to play and guard multiple positions.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1165343" first="Brady" last="Haugen"] (2025) |6-1 F| Griggs County Central</strong> - Strong inside presence who can score with his back to the basket.   </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1165347" first="Calvin" last="Garmann"] (2025) |6-4 F| Watford City</strong> - Very tall and lanky post who will give teams matchup problems inside. I look for him to have a nice summer.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1165348" first="Drew" last="Passa"] (2025) |5-2 G| Drayton/Valley/Edinburg</strong> - Has the ability to knock down shots from the outside.  Games when Drew shoots well, we will play well.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1165355" first="Grant" last="Cosley"] (2025) |5-7 G| North Border</strong> - Grant will be our swiss-army knife.  He will have to handle the ball a lot of us and will need to consistently put-up big scoring numbers.  He has a nice outside and can create off the dribble for himself and others.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1165361" first="Jace" last="Dillman"] (2025) |5-5 G| Jamestown</strong> - Jase is another kid that can flat out shoot the ball.  He will need to shoot well for us to be successful.</p> <p><strong>Kaden Pierce (2025) |6-0 G| Warren/Alvarado/Oslo (MN)</strong> - Kaden is a big strong guard that will be able to bully his way inside for some easy points.  He can shoot it from the outside, but he will be a matchup problem for a lot of teams.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1165391" first="Nolan" last="Weidner"] (2025) |5-6 G| Dickinson</strong> - Nolan is a good ball-handler and can shoot it from the outside.</p> <p><strong>Ryan Hirst (2025) |5-11 G| Rosseau (MN)</strong> - A tall lanky guard that can score in a lot of different ways.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1165392" first="Karter" last="Peterson"] (2025) |6-2 G| Thompson </strong>- Karter is a big strong post who played a lot of minutes for a good Thompson team this season.  He gives us another great scoring option inside and he can stretch the floor some and hit shots from the outside.  I think Karter will have a big summer.</p> <p><strong><u>Schedule</u></strong></p> <p>MN Comets Shootout (St. Cloud, MN) April 17 &amp; 18</p> <p>Pentagon Spring Jam (Sioux Falls, SD) April 24-25</p> <p>AYBT Tournament (Harrisburg, SD) May 2</p> <p>Pentagon Hardwood Challenge (Sioux Falls, SD) June 5-6</p> <p>Great Plains Comet Alliance (St. Cloud)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
