<p>DFW, Texas --</p> <table style="width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #fdffd6;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><strong>MVP: [player_tooltip player_id="955384" first="Ethan" last="Scott"]</strong> | Team Buddy Buckets</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">5’10” SG</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">Mustang HS ’22</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>It is difficult to attribute 30-plus thrashing to any one player, but Scott’s reliability at the 3-point line was a Keyshon factor in helping TBB to bury opposing teams early. The best shooter in Oklahoma hit on <b>22-of-32</b> shots from deep, averaging <b>19.25</b> points-a-contest.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>You would bet the house on him to hit any open shot during the tournament, although you still expected him to knock down even the most strenuous attempts. Also playing part-time point guard, Scott’s efficiency in distributing the ball on the drive lent his teammates great looks at the basket, and he even made some impressive down-court passes. On the drive, Scott connected on his handy cross-body floater a couple times and was successful on his one-dribble pull-up. Defensively, Scott was hardly a liability for TBB. Watching him race about the perimeter to rotate on shooters and adhere to ball-handlers on the perimeter made him a confident selection for the all-tournament team.</p> <table style="width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #fdffd6;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="954194" first="JV" last="Seat"]</strong> | Team Buddy Buckets</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">6’4” G-F</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">Edmond Memorial ’22</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>Seat is just a basketball <i>player. </i>Forget a label or listed position; he does it all. Rolling off screens to post-up, hitting triples off-the-catch, defending all five positions, dishing the ball in transition or even running the point and getting the ball to shooters, it makes little difference for Seat. He doesn’t just do it all, but he does it all <i>well</i> and his shooting talent has especially skyrocketed this summer. Seat was even hitting step-backs from the NBA line His astute presence and awareness for the game provided a focal point for many of TBB’s defensive efforts, and his scoring talents require great dedication from opposing teams, helping to free his teammates.</p> <table style="width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #fdffd6;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="967407" first="D’Andre" last="Titsworth"]</strong> | ABC Basketball</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">6’0” CG</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">Muskogee HS ’22</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>A multi-talented guard, Titsworth displayed excellent resolve last weekend in Dallas.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> The speedy playmaker has no snags in his movement; his comfortable pace reminds you of (and I use this comparison very judiciously) Pedulla. Titsworth can handle the ball efficiently, rarely giving up possessions even against seasoned </span>defenders. The left-hander was able to get through traffic and score the ball against talented teams, but his defensive talents set him above the crowd. He hawked down pass after pass last weekend to turn deflections into buckets on the other end.</p> <table style="height: 22px; width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #fdffd6;"> <tbody> <tr style="height: 22px;"> <td style="width: 100%; height: 22px; text-align: center;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="955401" first="Marcell" last="Perry"]</strong> | Oklahoma Chaos</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">6’4” F</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">Southeast HS ’22</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>Perry is a <em>dog</em> on both ends of the floor, and he has only become more impressive as each summer has passed. The standout forward from south-side OKC constantly shows up against a crowd of the best teams from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and other regional grassroots teams. A strong-armed swingman, Perry plays with great tenacity on both ends of the floor, pairing his power with agility. Defensively, Perry was outstanding last weekend in gathering steals all 32 minutes and anchoring OKChaos’s defense. Offensively, he battled his way through contact, gathered rebounds and scored the basketball at the bottom level, but he also presented a threat on the drive.</p> <table style="width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #fdffd6;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="955381" first="Jamel" last="Graves"]</strong> | Oklahoma Chaos</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">6’6” C</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">Lawton Eisenhower ’22</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>Graves, who is already off to an auspicious start this summer, has shown strides in his game. He has a strong frame and good footwork to go along with it, and he plays with few reservations on the offensive end of the floor. Graves battled his way through contact from numerous forwards, many of whom had the height advantage, but few had a strength advantage. He has great hand-work around the rim, and he does not struggle on selling out on four-footers even with heavy contest. Defensively, Graves brought a lot of energy to the floor and helped Chaos to keep the glass clean and force bad shots.</p> <table style="width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #fdffd6;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1049318" first="Graham" last="Tawwater"]</strong> | Next Level</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">6’4” G-F</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">Bishop McGuinness Catholic ’22</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>Tawwater had a lot going for him last weekend. He knocked down a buzzer-beating 3-pointer in Next Level’s second game from past the NBA line, finishing with 17 points. Aside from that, he was routinely excellent from the mid-range, creating his own shot at the handle and finishing at rim-level. Tawwater’s arsenal has become more polished over the years, and now with a keen sense to score the basketball in multiple methods, he has the potential to be an exceptional playmaker with his 6-foot-4 frame.</p>
