Wasatch Academy once again proves it’s point as one of the best programs in the country. They are a Top 10 programs day in and day out. They had a team that was stacked. With players from all over the country and world for that matter Wasatch has turned into a breading ground for Division 1 athletes to not only get seen but to get these talented players the skills they need to get the looks they want. Wasatch Academy is a staple program for the National High School Championships almost every year.

Elite Guards

Wasatch Academy is a high level guard factory and this year could rival any year. [player_tooltip player_id="611186" first="Nolan" last="Hickman"] is a 2021 no brainer as he will take his talents to the University of Kentucky. With his consistent play and elite play against the best in the country there is no way that he doesn’t see the floor as a freshman next year. He has many gears to his game and his downhill game is 5-star worthy.

Looking to the future you have Richard Isaacs Jr. who headlines the top guards in the country in the Class of 2022. Nicknamed "Pop Pop" he is going to have a Spring and Summer that could really help him solidify the hype. He is getting looked at by some of the top blue bloods in the country including Kansas. The kid can score the ball with the ball in his hands and he moves so fluidly without the ball as well.

The Big Fellas

When it comes to bigs there is no shortage of talent on the team. Lead by [player_tooltip player_id="755610" first="Fousseyni" last="Traore"] who will be heading to the BYU. This kid is still somewhat raw but when he got to Wasatch he was really raw and he has put in that work. He is mobile, strong and can move from left to right on the blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id="806711" first="Robbie" last="Armbrester"] is an athlete and a load at the F position. Often times having to guard bigger and smaller players his ability to defend is elite. Robbie is a high motor floor runner who often gets rewarded with easy dunks, or at least he makes them look easy.

More Talent

The talent doesn’t stop there or here. Wasatch added a dynamic guard in Rody Gayle who is a top prospect in the 2022 class and a Ohio State commit. Rody lights it up from the outside which is much needed with a team with capable bigs and guards that need lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id="1114397" first="Casey" last="Jones"] a 2021 addition that signed with Eastern Washington was huge as a glue guys that did it all. Casey was great on the boards and finding ways to score without plays being run his way.

Closing Remarks

Wasatch Academy is going to reload and we are here and excited for it all. They have some talent coming back but look for them to add some names that are familiar locally and some that are familiar across the country.
