<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1049117" first="JaQuez" last="Thornton"] emerged as an elite point guard this season. His quickness, three-point shooting and ability to get to the basket left defenders helpless. Look for the lefty to garner some D-I looks if he parlays his play into a strong offseason.</p>
<p><strong>2021 5-10 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1036813" first="Jamal" last="Taylor"] – Hancock Central</strong></p>
<p>Peanut averaged 17.5 points per game. His late game heroics will go down in Hancock lore. He hit a three from half court to send Hancock to the state championship. His quickness and hardnosed play make him a solid option at the next level.</p>
<p><strong>2021 6-1 G [player_tooltip player_id="1130518" first="Kolby" last="Moss"] – Towns County - Young Harris</strong></p>
<p>Towns County captured the state title behind [player_tooltip player_id="1130518" first="Kolby" last="Moss"]’ 19.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Moss is a feisty competitor that scores at all three levels. He does a great job getting to the basket and scoring through contact while avoiding shot blockers. Moss shot an efficient 55% from the field.</p>
<p><strong>2022 6-4 CG [player_tooltip player_id="870156" first="Ja’Kobe" last="Strozier"] – Drew Charter</strong></p>
<p>Mid-Major and High Major programs have offered Strozier. He’s got a terrific body and great athleticism. He’s at his best when getting to the hoop.</p>
<p><strong>2022 6-7 F [player_tooltip player_id="1123942" first="Jake" last="McTaggart"] – Towns County</strong></p>
<p>No one in Class A-Public could match [player_tooltip player_id="1123942" first="Jake" last="McTaggart"]’s physicality and scoring in the low post. In from North Carolina, McTaggart’s move to Towns County immediately made the Indians a state title contender. He dominated in the state championship and finished his season averaging 15.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks.</p>
