Vashon vs Blair Oaks, noon: A great matchup between two teams that were in he Final Four last season and are also celebrating the 20-year anniversary of a state championship. Top-ranked Vashon relies on its speed, defensive pressure and the excellent pair of 6’6 VCU recruit Nick Kern and 6’4 UNLV recruit Keshon Gilbert Keshon Gilbert 6'3" | PG Vashon | 2021 State #202 Nation MO . Blair Oaks will counter with one of the state’s top scoring duos in 6’9 2022 Luke Northweather Luke Northweather 6'9" | PF Blair Oaks | 2022 State MO and 6’1 2022 guard Quinn Kusgen Quinn Kusgen 6'1" | SG Blair Oaks | 2022 State MO . They combine to score nearly 50 points a game. (Prediction: Vashon)
Note: The second semifinal game between Westminster and Barstow will not be played. Barstow had to withdraw from the tournament, thus Westminster automatically advances to the state championship game.
