Here we look at more players from Rhode Island who made an impact this season.

Preston Murphy, ST Andrews, Position G, Ht 6-2, class Senior

Preston is a high level talent. Preston has a strong built, and is very athletic. Preston Shoots at a very high percentage. Preston can get to the basket with ease. Preston is one of the best play players in Rhode Island and has committed to play at DePaul next year. I think Preston should do very well in the Big East. His dad is also a coach in the Big East.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081840" first="Miles" last="Fiore"], ST Georges, Position G, HT 6-4, Class Junior

Miles is a combo guard who is a threat from multiple areas on the floor. He can post up on smaller guys, and he is great off the dribble. Miles is a great scorer with a great sense for reading what the defense will do. Miles has a crafty skill set and I feel should be able to play at high levels.

Max Newsome, Rogers, Position G, HT 5-11 Class senior

Max is a solid all around player. Max can run the point or play on the wing. He is athletic and is constantly in motion moving without the ball. His conditioning looks very good, as he able to always be moving on the court. Max can score when needed, and also makes the extra pass.

Shane Ramos, Tiverton, Position G/F, HT, 6-1, class senior

Shane is a combo guard and forward. Not the tallest forwards, but one of the stronger more built forwards. Shane has really improved since last season. He looks more confident and comfortable in his role. Shane can impact the game in many ways. Shane is a great defender who can guard 1-5 with out having a miss match.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081760" first="Parker" last="Mason"], Rocky Hill, position C, HT 6-8, Class senior

At 6-8 Parker is a strong back to the basket center. He is a double double threat every game. Parker has good coordination, and moves well for his size. Parker is just physically stronger than most of his matches in the paint. He rebounds well, and gets a lot of second chance points as well. Parker is a good finisher and has a pretty good touch at the rim. Parker also sets very good screens and does a good job of staying planted and setting hard screens. Parker is a true center.
