5A is exactly who we thought would be there. We are excited to see the best teams go at it. There are some talented players and each team has Division 1 talent.

Farmington vs. Timpview

These two teams are fun ti watch and both have players that are absolutely game changers. Timpview has the upper hand on paper as they have so many weapons. Farmington will need a player like Paul Beaty to really grow up in a hurry because they will likely need him in the rotation to keep up.

Keys to the Game

If Timpview does not put length on [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"] or their most pesky defender Collin could go off for 40 whcih might not be a good thing. Farmington shoots a lot of 3’s and they’re actually going to need to hit them to win this one. Timpview just need to move the ball and attack the rim as they can put pressure on teams with their movement.

Key Players

6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"], Farmington

6’7 [player_tooltip player_id="755614" first="Jake" last="Wahlin"], Timpview

6’5 [player_tooltip player_id="934031" first="James" last="Rust"], Timpview

6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="933806" first="Truman" last="Hendry"], Farmington

X-Factors

[player_tooltip player_id="543075" first="Coleman" last="Ford"], Timpview

[player_tooltip player_id="1042363" first="Caleb" last="Mordue"], Farmington

Lehi vs. Olympus

This is one of the most intriguing games because they are both so similar. They both have elite guard play. The biggest difference is that only one team has Jack Wistircill. Lehi will have to come up with a scheme to keep him in check.

Keys to the Game

Olympus has a lot of firepower and it starts with Jack. If Lehi can play Olympus like they did Westlake earlier this season they have a shot. If they let Jack have his way and pick them apart on doubles, they are in trouble. This can also be a huge game for the three-headed guard monster for Lehi. Will be. fun game to watch.

Key Players

6’2 [player_tooltip player_id="543077" first="Noa" last="Gonsalves"], Lehi

6’8 Jack Wistircil, Olympus

6’3 Luke Smith, Olympus

6’5 [player_tooltip player_id="933805" first="Tyson" last="Hawkins"]

X-Factors

[player_tooltip player_id="1095803" first="Peter" last="Amakasu"], Lehi

[player_tooltip player_id="755622" first="Ben" last="Krystowiak"], Olympus
