David Kinneberg David Kinneberg 6'6" | SF Juan Diego | 2021 State UT 6’6 SF Juan Diego 2021 (#89PHU 2021) – A major contributor to the #1 seed, JD needs him to take some of the pressure off 20 point scorer Talon Valdez if the Soaring Eagles are to make a title run. Kinneberg has been hot as of late, posting double digits in 7 out of his last 8 games.
Jordan Eaton Jordan Eaton 6'2" | CG Crimson Cliffs | 2023 State UT 6’2 SF Crimson Cliffs 2023 (#72PHU 2022) – Eaton has quietly had a solid year for CC. The sophomore has put together some big performances including an 18 – 11 double double against Manti early in the year. Playoff time would be the perfect opportunity to take his game to the next level. If he does CC has a chance to go far.
Mason Landdeck Mason Landdeck 6'2" | PG Desert Hills | 2021 State UT 6’1 PG Desert Hills 2021 – A different type of breakout for Landdeck as the Eastern Washington commit is already a well-known commodity in his original state of Washington. The state tournament could be the perfect opportunity to introduce his style of basketball to the state of Utah. Landdeck has already put together a solid season averaging over 23ppg to go along with 5 assists. A deep playoff run would be the perfect cap to his one season in the state.
Treyton Tebbs Treyton Tebbs 6'0" | CG Cedar | 2021 State UT 6’2 CG Cedar 2021 (#66PHU 2021) – Tebbs plays alongside one of the state’s top players in Dalin Grant and has managed to star in his role. Tebbs has scored a minimum of 15 points in 12 out of 17 games this season, providing CC with one of the top 1-2 punches in the 4A bracket.
Walker Morrison 6’3 SG Snow Canyon (featured image) – Morrison has scored in double digits 5 times this season, SC has won 4 of those games. I saw him in the preseason and he shot the ball well. His ability to knock down shots and serve as a floor spacer should open the court for sensational sophomore Lynam Simmons to go to work down low. If that happens, SC has the talent to make a run.
