Cedavion Wimbley Cedavion Wimbley 6'0" | CG South View | 2022 NC | 6’0 Guard | South View
Wimbley made noise on the grassroots scene with WatchUs Work and has carried that over to the high school stage with South View. He leads the team in scoring (20.4 ppg) while also posting 3.6 rpg, 3.5 apg and 2.1 spg. He’s relentless getting to the paint and finishing in traffic and even more lethal as a perimeter shooter. He posted a season-high 38 points while knocking down seven 3-pointers against Overhills then put up 30 points on four made 3-pointers this past Friday against them in their second meeting.
Julien King Julien King 6'3" | CG GRACE Christian | 2023 State NC | 6’1 Guard | South Garner
King has done well as a new face in the South Garner rotation in 2020-21. He’s averaging 11.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 1.9 apg while also shooting 40 percent from the field and from behind the arc. He’s a three-level scorer in their backcourt that also has a strong knack for the rebounding the basketball. He put up 25 points and 10 rebounds in his best performance this season against Apex Friendship.
Josh Johnson Josh Johnson 5'11" | SG South Garner | 2022 State NC | 5’11 Shooting Guard | South Garner
Johnson is growing as more than just a shooter with more weapons on the floor for South Garner. He’s posted 9.0 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.8 apg and 1.4 spg while shooting 33 percent from behind the arc this season. He’s done well creating on the perimeter and getting to the free throw line this season. As he gets stronger and develops his all-around game, look for his stock to grow in the class.
Manny Elliott Manny Elliott 6'3" | CG Northern Guilford | 2022 State NC | 6’3 Guard/Wing | Northern Guilford
Elliott has been a strong combination with Nolan Hodge Nolan Hodge 6'6" | SF Northern Guilford | 2022 State NC in the Northern Guilford rotation as they’re off to a 9-0 start. He’s putting 14.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.4 apg, and 1.3 spg for his squad as the second featured player in their rotation. His 3-point shooting is coming along but he’s a relentless presence on the rebounding front and creating off the bounce. He’s another prospect for the Nighthawks to get eyes on.
CeeJay Jordan CeeJay Jordan 6'4" | SF Millbrook | 2022 State NC | 6’4 Forward | Millbrook
Jordan has been another junior name in the Millbrook rotation that’s made waves in 2020-21. He’s producing 10.4 ppg and 7.3 rpg at the forward spot for the Wildcats in his first role in the varsity lineup. He’s racked up 28 offensive rebounds and 23 defensive rebounds this season, just to show what type of presence he brings on the glass. He’s got a motor and does all the little things well already. Track him now.
Jaxon Brown Jaxon Brown 6'0" | CG Wakefield | 2022 State NC | 6’0 Guard | Wakefield
Brown is getting adjusted in the varsity rotation in 2020-21 at Wakefield. He’s putting up 15.0 ppg, 3.8 apg, 2.5 rpg and 1.8 spg at the lead guard spot for the Wolverines this season. He’s shooting 40 percent from behind the arc and 56 percent from the field while leading the offensive attack in the backcourt. He’s climbing up the radar in this class.
Damien Robinson Damien Robinson 6'5" | C Over Hills | 2022 State NC | 6’5 Forward/Center | Overhills
Robinson is a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the floor at Overhills. He’s averaging a double-double this season with 15.1 ppg, 12.4 rpg and 1.9 bpg in the frontcourt for them. He’s racked up seven double-doubles through nine games for them so far while showing he can finish around the rim and protect the paint. He’s a forward prospect to track.
Mikhail Pocknett Mikhail Pocknett 6'6" | PF New Hanover | 2022 State NC | 6’5 Forward/Wing | Ashley
Pocknett was a featured name in the Ashley High rotation in 2019-20 and not much has changed in 2020-21 as he continues to standout in the frontcourt. He’s putting 14.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 1.0 bpg in their frontcourt as they go through some growing pains with some other junior prospects in the rotation. He’s still managed to produce two double-doubles and shoot 63 percent from the field as a presence in the paint.
