College Commitment: Keshawn Hall (2021 Lake Oswego)

It’s official - [player_tooltip player_id="942244" first="Keshawn" last="Hall"] is the next Oregon prospect to head to the college level. The crafty 6-foot-1, 165-pound point guard had originally planned on suiting up for Lake Oswego this year but situations changed for him. Instead, Hall has graduated high school early and instead of being donning a Lakers uniform he’ll be wearing a Lumberjacks one as he’s signed to play at Humboldt State.
"Coach Colin (Caslick) who was a coach at Lake Oswego had hit me earlier this year and told me that he watched me play last year at the LSI," Hall said. "He was very impressed with my game and how my style of play would fit into their system at Humboldt State which is a fast-paced offense and they apply pressure on defense the whole game."
Hall developed a relationship with assistant coach Caslick - who also played collegiately at Humboldt State - and the more he heard about the program the more he knew it was the right place for him at the college level. "That all ties into why it’s a good fit for me," Hall said. "And they have five incoming freshmen that I would be able to build something special with."
In 2019-20, Hall averaged 11.2 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.4 rebounds on a balanced Jefferson squad before making the decision to transfer to Lake Oswego. Having graduated high school early, Hall has not only signed but plans on heading down to Humboldt State and immediately getting into action this season. He’s not shy about his expectations.
"I’m going to be a leader to my teammates and we’re going to win," Hall said.
Hall follows a current trend of Class of 2021 prospects graduating early to enroll in college in 2021, the likes of which include Clackamas forward [player_tooltip player_id="606247" first="Ben" last="Gregg"] (Gonzaga), Tigard guard [player_tooltip player_id="606254" first="Drew" last="Carter"] (Colorado), and former Jefferson teammate [player_tooltip player_id="606248" first="Nathan" last="Rawlins-Kibonge"] (Oklahoma).
