Tristate Sensational Six: Top Performers

<p>The event featured great mix of talent from New York and surrounding areas. Here are some of the top performers:</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="945527" first="Dior" last="Davis"]- Point Guard Team: LES Blazers</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="945527" first="Dior" last="Davis"] has a great feel for the game. He has a high basketball IQ with great ball handling skills. Dior is a leader on the court with the ability to rally his team to play. A shot maker who is capable of scoring at all three levels. Athletic point guard and great passer. Tonight Dior was the game’s MVP  sinking the game winning layup and finishing with 28 points and 4 assists. Definitely, he is one to watch.</p> <p>Albert Vargas- Point Guard Team: Real Deal</p> <p>Heady point guard with a high basketball IQ. Plays with a high motor and is tough as nails. A crafty point guard who has a knack of getting into the lane and making plays happen for his teammates. Albert has a solid build and a good handle who leaves it all out on the court. In Tonight’s game Albert had 23 points and 3 assists. Colleges should take notice of this player. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="945530" first="Randy" last="Crosby"]- Point Guard Team: Real Deal</p> <p>Great size for a point guard. Attacks the rim relentlessly, even with someone on his hip, he doesn’t get knocked off his path. Randy has a great feel for the game with solid passing skills. He can score at all three levels and rebounds the ball well for a point guard. In tonight’s game, Randy had 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. </p> <p>Promis Opurum- Forward/Center Team: New Roc</p> <p>Promis is a throwback big man in my opinion. Very athletic and a great rim protector. He is a strong rebounder on both ends. Promis doesn’t veer out of his comfort zone playing directly to his strengths. In the post, Promis has a great feel and I love his jump hooks with the right and left hand. In tonight’s game Promis controlled the paint on offense and defense. He finished with  19 points, 17 rebounds and 3 blocks. This player’s recruitment will increase.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="945521" first="Jayson" last="Mcghee"]- Guard Team: New Roc</p> <p>Jayson is a rugged driver to the lane. Once he is at the basket, he can finish with either hand. He has a knack for scoring the basketball. Plays tough on both ends and good passing ability. A leader on the court with buy-in from his teammates. From the wing position, Jayson rebounds well. In tonight’s game, Jayson spent the whole evening in the paint scoring at will.
