But the talent in the Suburban One League is not limited to backcourt players. There are a host of super talented wings and forwards who will take the floor in the SOL during 2020-21.

Below are profiles for a number of Suburban One League wing, small forward and power forward prospects to watch in 2020-21.

[player_tooltip player_id="1120187" first="Derrik" last="Cosenza"] – 6’4” / Senior / William Tennent / Wing: Cosenza was a major contributor for Tennent as a sophomore and he used that as a springboard for a tremendous junior season after which he landed on the 2019-20 1st Team All SOL National Conference list. A long (6’9” wingspan), quick, super athletic and high energy player, Cosenza averaged 15 points per-game last year (leading scorer) and posted numerous double-doubles (9.9 rpg.). Cosenza can put the ball on the floor to get by his defender and finish with either hand. As a bonus, he is an elite rim protector. A standout for Philly Heat AAU, Cosenza was the 2019 Pittsburgh Jam Fest MVP. He is a two-sport athlete (football) who is drawing D-I recruiting interest as a linebacker and wide receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id="991154" first="Luke" last="Dicianno"] – 6’4” / Senior / Plymouth-Whitemarsh / Wing: In 2019-20 DiCianno was a fantastic running mate for all-everything guard Caelin Peters (Now in PG year at Phelps School.). With Peters gone, Dicianno will become the No. 1 option for the Colonials’ offense. His 31 point outburst last season vs. Manning HS in the Blue Star Invitational (SC) proved DiCianno has the skills to handle that role. DiCianno is an athletic, highly skilled and versatile prospect. He can splash threes via the spot up or off pick action. When he’s out on the break, DiCianno plays downhill and won’t hesitate flush on a defender’s head. In the half-court, DiCianno can use the bounce to get into the paint and finish equally with either hand. At times DiCianno can morph into a point-forward style player and facilitate for teammates. In 2019-20 he posted averages of 13 ppg. and 5 rpg.

[player_tooltip player_id="1122123" first="Michael" last="Farley"] – 6’7” / Junior / Central Bucks South / Power Forward: Farley (11 ppg.) is a high level post player who can score on the interior with a quick power dribble or off his mid-range jumper. Additionally, he owns an arsenal of ball fakes that allow him to get past a defender and score at the rim with both hands. A nice flip hook is also part of Farley’s bag of tricks. The wiry big man has a developing pick-n-pop / pick-n-roll game. Farley is a solid rebounder (6.8 rpg.), who isn’t afraid to move an opponent with a strong box out. He runs the floor very well and is an elite shot blocker (1.3 bpg.). In 2019-20 he showed a glimpse of ability to stretch the floor with the occasional 3-ball. If that element of his game becomes consistent, this sky is the limit for this kid. Farley’s sophomore season was highlighted by a 25-point night vs Souderton.

Jack Hamilton – 6’9” / Senior / Central Bucks East / Power Forward: Hamilton is a two sport athlete who is committed to Lehigh for baseball (pitcher). So it should come as no surprise that while he stands 6’9” this athletic big owns crazy guard skills. Hamilton has excellent handles, can shoot threes and moves very well without the ball. Not many prospects with Hamilton’s size can shot fake a 3PA, quickly blow by several defenders with the dribble and then finish at the rim with authority. In 2019-20 he led CB East in rebounds, blocked shots, as well as dunks and was second on the team in scoring (13 ppg.). At the other end, Hamilton is a high level rim protector. The word is that this past summer/fall, Hamilton added a good deal of muscle to his frame.

[player_tooltip player_id="991177" first="Zuri" last="Jerman"] – 6’6” / Senior / Plymouth-Whitemarsh / Small Forward: A long and athletic big who runs the floor very well, Jerman is a monster on the glass at both ends for the PW Colonials. At the offensive end he impresses with his quick footwork and ability to establish position in the paint. Jerman also displayed great hands as he was able to corral a number of poor passes / lobs and convert those difficult catches into scoring opportunities. During 2020 Competitive Edge Fall League Jerman was one of the most impressive bigs to take the floor. With the graduation of all-everything guard Caelin Peters, Jerman will need to step up and become a running mate for PW’s [player_tooltip player_id="991154" first="Luke" last="Dicianno"].

[player_tooltip player_id="990977" first="Drew" last="Stover"] – 6’7” / Senior / Upper Dublin / Power Forward: With his size (250 lbs) and ability to score on the blocks with either hand, at first glance, many will classify Stover as traditional power forward. But watch this high level prospect play long enough and it becomes apparent that this big man is athletic as hell and very nimble for a kid his size. That combination allows Stover to score off the bounce from the elbows and get down the floor in transition. As a little bonus, he can drain the occasional 3-ball (40% from three last season). At the defensive end, he is a force on the glass and intimidating shot blocker. In 2019-20 Stover boasted a 19.2 ppg. stat line and was a 1st Team All SOL American Conference selection.
