As the Wisconsin high school basketball season flips the page to 2021, Prep Hoops Wisconsin takes a look at which prospects have filled up the stat sheet so far:

[player_tooltip player_id="804898" first="Brandin" last="Podziemski"] -- SJNMA -- 2021 -- SG

Through eight games, Podziemski has made a habit out of putting up tremendous numbers. The 2021 shooting guard is averaging 34.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per contest. It has been a pleasure to watch Podziemski’s game develop over the years.

[player_tooltip player_id="935489" first="Mason" last="Dorn"] -- Seymour -- 2021 -- PG

Dorn is probably the most underrated scorer in the state of Wisconsin. The Seymour point guard just gets buckets, and doesn’t seem to get enough credit for it. He is scoring 31.8 points per game on 52 percent shooting from the field.

[player_tooltip player_id="830582" first="Cameron" last="Palesse"] -- Waukesha West -- 2021 -- PG

I have a feeling that Palesse could be leading Valpoarsio to a deep run into the NCAA tournament in the near future. The Waukesha West point guard is one of the best scorers in the state. Through six games, he is putting up 30.8 points per contest.

[player_tooltip player_id="988962" first="C.J." last="Campbell"] -- New Richmond -- 2022 -- SG

Campbell might be the best player that you have never heard of in Wisconsin’s 2022 class. The shooting guard out of New Richmond is an extremely dangerous scorer who can get hot in a hurry. In five games, Campbell has scored over 20 points five times. I am eagerly anticipating watching Campbell play in the spring/summer AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id="938201" first="Parker" last="Lawrence"] -- Hortonville -- 2021 -- PG

After the FVA lost a lot of talent due to graduation last year, Lawrence has become one of the conference’s best players. The point guard has failed to tally over 25 points just once this season. At St. Norbert, look for the PG to make his impact felt.

[player_tooltip player_id="879986" first="Tanner" last="Resch"] -- Sussex Hamilton -- 2021 -- PG

After Sussex Hamilton lost [player_tooltip player_id="544570" first="Patrick" last="Baldwin Jr."] to injury, Resch has stepped up big-time. The point guard has scored over 30 points on four occasions, including a game where he put up 49. Whichever college program ends up snagging Resch will be getting an incredible player who can do it all.

[player_tooltip player_id="801141" first="Casey" last="Verhagen"] -- Sheboygan Lutheran -- 2022 -- PG

Verhagen has proven that he is one of the most versatile prospects in Wisconsin. He can score, pass, defend, and do everything that is necessary for his team to win. The Sheboygan Lutheran star is averaging 27.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game.

[player_tooltip player_id="880005" first="Jeremiah" last="Burke"] -- Saint Francis -- 2021 -- SF

I saw something in Burke last summer when he impressed on the Prep Hoops Circuit. He has great size for his position and also the skills to pay the bills. This season, the small forward is showing that he is reaching his potential. Burke is scoring 25.8 points per game in his senior season.
