War Lodge Invitational Standouts Pt. 2

<p><strong>2022 6-4 SG [player_tooltip player_id="725164" first="Jermahri" last="Hill"] – Berkmar</strong></p> <p>Fatt Hill is always looking for a highlight. He is a strict downhill attacker that has an electric first step. Hill puts so much pressure on defenses. They have to decide whether to foul him or make a business decision and get out of the way when he goes for lift off. He went 8-10 from the foul line and posted 16 points and 6 rebounds vs. Centennial. Continuing to work on his outside shot is his next project.</p> <p><strong>2022 6-2 PG [player_tooltip player_id="598778" first="Jameel" last="Rideout"] – Berkmar<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/09/IMG_8283-1.jpg"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-1048966 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/09/IMG_8283-1-150x150.jpg" alt="[player_tooltip player_id="598778" first="Jameel" last="Rideout"]" width="150" height="150" /></a></strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="598778" first="Jameel" last="Rideout"] snapped his fingers and took over the game in the second half. He poured in 18 of his game-high 20 points in the second half while adding 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Rideout casually sank back-to-back 25-foot-plus three pointers to spark his offense. Then he started attacking the paint, craftily using hesitation dribbles and in-and-out moves to get to the basket. He played his trademark stingy defense and managed to get others involved while facilitating. Rideout continues to trend in the right direction. His late addition to the program has been incredibly impactful.</p> <p><strong>2021 6-5 PF Dara Olonade – Berkmar</strong></p> <p>Dara Olonade has seen a plethora of imports move in and cut into his time over the course of his career but with [player_tooltip player_id="870148" first="Malique" last="Ewin"] sidelined on Saturday, the freak athlete from the football field changed the game down the stretch with his hustle and effort. Olonade scored 9 of his 11 points in the second half and added 12 rebounds. Olonade lives above the rim. He crashes the glass hard, looking for putback dunks. He plays much bigger than his listed height. Dara is toughness personified. He is reminiscent of [player_tooltip player_id="869594" first="Omarion" last="Smith"] minus the elite shot blocking. If Olonade chooses basketball over football at the next level, small schools need to push their chips into the middle of the table to obtain the workhorse’s services.  </p> <p><strong>2021 6-3 SG Andrew Glaze – Cass</strong></p> <p>Knowing your role is one thing but playing it to a T is another. Andrew Glaze has enjoyed a breakout season as a three-point specialist. He can always be found shot ready in the corner and cashes in jumpers at a high rate. He did a little playmaking as well on Saturday, finishing with 11 points and 3 assists. Schools looking for a floor spacer need to check on the coach’s son.</p> <p><strong>2022 6-3 SG [player_tooltip player_id="870202" first="Dylan" last="Wolle"] – Sequoyah<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/07/IMG_6323.jpg"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-1015779 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/07/IMG_6323-150x150.jpg" alt="[player_tooltip player_id="870202" first="Dylan" last="Wolle"]" width="150" height="150" /></a></strong></p> <p>Coming off a school-record 10 threes in a single game, [player_tooltip player_id="870202" first="Dylan" last="Wolle"]’s encore performance was a 4 three 28-point outburst. Wolle added 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal to his ledger as well. By now the entire state should recognize Wolle as premier outside shooter. Teams try to take him away but he still manages to find openings in the defense and burns them any time he gets air space. Wolle does a great job of working off screens away from the ball to get free.</p>
