Available Seniors Spotlight

With schools facing quarantine and shutdown every day, it has never been more important for seniors to get as much exposure as possible. With the Available Seniors Spotlight, we will highlight some talented 2021s that have yet to sign.

6-0 PG [player_tooltip player_id="869624" first="Tre" last="Grane"] – Northside-Warner Robins

[player_tooltip player_id="869624" first="Tre" last="Grane"] is blowing up. The tough-nosed guard has done it all for Northside-Warner Robins. He can score from all three levels and is a foul magnet when attacking the basket. Grane has wiggle to his game when he gets downhill and can be hard to stay in front of. Tre is pouring in 25.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 3 steals per game. D-III Dean College has offered, but with the way he is playing, Grane looks like a no-brainer at the D-II level.

6-5 F [player_tooltip player_id="1043314" first="Greg" last="Jones"] – Warner Robins

Lunch pail and hard hat. [player_tooltip player_id="1043314" first="Greg" last="Jones"] goes to work inside. He is a tenacious rebounder and effort provider on the low block. Jones powers through contact to convert And-1s and has quality footwork when working the baseline. You can count on maximum effort and production each team Jones steps on the floor. A variety of D-III programs have offered.

6-4 G [player_tooltip player_id="1011329" first="Jaeden" last="Marshall"] – Richmond Hill

Mr. Downhill aka [player_tooltip player_id="1011329" first="Jaeden" last="Marshall"] is a load when he gets a head of steam. He’s so strong and graceful, he can either power through defenders or deftly euro step them. Marshall uses his athleticism to help rebound and ignite fast breaks. He’s a good passer and overall is an unselfish player. Marshall is averaging 13.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals. He is a strong option at the D-II level.

6-5 W [player_tooltip player_id="948585" first="Kervens" last="Yacinthe"] – Paulding County

[player_tooltip player_id="948585" first="Kervens" last="Yacinthe"] has the neon green light at Paulding County averaging over 23 shots per game. The lefty is pumping in 26.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Yacinthe is wired to score and always finds a way to get to his left hand where is plays the angles beautifully when attacking the basket. He has somewhat of an unorthodox shot, but he’s hit 24 threes over his first 10 games. Tightening up his ball handling and focusing on the defensive side of the ball more are areas for growth, but colleges across the country are always in need of big guards that can put the ball in the basket and Yacinthe fits the bill.

6-0 PG [player_tooltip player_id="869652" first="Isaiah" last="Logan"] – Allatoona

The wheels are starting to turn for [player_tooltip player_id="869652" first="Isaiah" last="Logan"]. The speedy guard is getting into a groove his senior season and has helped the Bucs win four straight games. Logan is warming up from the perimeter and is seeing driving lanes start to open. He’s averaging 16.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2 steals. Logan has excelled at finishing around the basket. He’s made difficult shots look easy. Defensively, his quickness has bothered some of the state’s best guards. Logan is a nice option for smaller schools looking for a guard that can push the tempo and put points on the board.

6-9 C [player_tooltip player_id="869635" first="Corey" last="Thomas"] – Cherokee Bluff

[player_tooltip player_id="869635" first="Corey" last="Thomas"] is a skilled post that can score with his back to the basket. He’s healed from a broken leg and has had dominant stretches throughout his senior season. He runs the floor well and can catch on the move. His offensive game extends out to the three-point line where he’s an accurate shooter. Corey is a very good rebounder that high points caroms and plays strong. He contests every shot in his area and can block almost anything that comes his way in the paint. He picked up an MTSU offer before his injury last year. He may need a season to redshirt and get in the gym, but Thomas has a D-I skillset.
