Class 4A – Region 2 Preview

<p>Class 4A-Region 2 is a region settled right around the Greenville County area. Who will be top dog in this region this coming season ? Read more right here on Prep Hoops. </p> <p><em><strong>Predictions: </strong></em></p> <p><strong>Greenville HS - The Red Raiders have a good nucleus back from last seasons team for Head Coach Mike Anderson.</strong></p> <p><strong>Greer HS - The Yellow Jackets have a new Head Coach in Devin Liferidge</strong></p> <p><strong>Greenwood HS - The Eagles will surprise somebody on a given night. </strong></p> <p><strong>Eastside HS - Can [player_tooltip player_id="1090498" first="Dario" last="Webb"] carry the Eagles to the top of the region ? </strong></p> <p><strong>Laurens HS - The Raiders will some growing pains this season under Head Coach Josh Chavis. </strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em><strong>Players to Watch in the Region: </strong></em></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927503" first="Jaquarious" last="Jones"] (2021) - Greenville HS (pictured on the front) </strong></p> <p>Jones has been All Region for 3 straight seasons for the Red Raiders. Jones a thick framed no true position TWEENER has picked up some football interest this fall. Boyles averaged 13.2 ppg, 3.9 rebounds and 2 assists last season. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1090498" first="Dario" last="Webb"] (2021) - Eastside HS </strong></p> <p>Webb is a bulldog type type point guard for Eastside HS. Franklin has the ability to finish contact while attacking the basket. Franklin was (58-101) 932 yards and 8 touchdowns this past season in 6 games. </p> <p><strong>Miller DeArmond (2021) </strong></p> <p>DeArmond plays Wide Receiver for the Yellow Jackets during the football season. DeArmond gives the Yellow Jackets a shooting threat on the perimeter this season. DeArmond recently committed to Coastal Carolina University for football next season. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="837350" first="Josh" last="Sapp"] (2023) - Greenville HS </strong></p> <p>Sapp a strong guard is just another piece to the Red Raiders roster for Head Coach Mike Anderson.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
