Class 3A – Region 3 Preview

<p>Will the Emerald HS Eagles win Class 3A - Region 3 this season ? Will the Panthers and Yellow Jackets take the crown ? The Centurions and Wolverines might have something to say about that along with some Red Devils. </p> <p><em><strong>Predictions:</strong></em> </p> <p><strong>Emerald HS (Greenwood) - </strong>Head Coach Mark Sparrow stepped down after going (6-17) last season. The Vikings do have some talent this season. </p> <p><strong>Union County HS - </strong>The Yellow Jackets have plenty of size up front. How will the back court perform this season <strong>? </strong></p> <p><strong>Chapman HS - [player_tooltip player_id="840269" first="Banks" last="Atkins"]</strong> is back for the Panthers after averaging 13.3 ppg last season for the (18-8) Panthers. </p> <p><strong>Broome HS - </strong>The Centurions return <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="747025" first="Adam" last="Comer"]</strong> up front. Forrester a slender sleek left-handed guard is a very deceptive athlete. Forrester a academic qualifier in the classroom has deep range on his shot from behind the arc. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927553" first="Zacoyeis" last="Elmore"] (2021) - Emerald HS (Greenwood) </strong></p> <p>Elmore averaged 15.9 ppg and 4.8 rebounds last season for the Eagles. Elmore attempted 215 three point attempts last season.
