The Let’s Get Ready IV camp took place at the MAAC in Clio Michigan on November first and was loaded with talented players. I was lucky enough to work the event and with so many talented players at the camp, I thought I needed to add seven more. So here is the seven more standouts from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id="987644" first="Tyran" last="Thomas"] 6’3 2023 Northview-Long and bouncy, I got to see him a decent amount this summer playing AAU for the Grand Rapids Storm and it was good to see him more at this camp. Rebounded and finished well and he has some good skills for a young wing player.

Brent Wiles 6’4 2021 New Haven-Brent had a great camp. Almost one the “king of the hill” one on one tournament and was dominate in drills and in games. Shoots it well, wonderful rebounder and has a great motor. Strong takes to the basket and can guard multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id="814650" first="Andre" last="Turner"] 6’2 2021 Sterling Heights Stevenson-Strong lead guard who really attacks the basket well. Rebounds well for his size and can shoot it from the outside. Handles the ball and is a good defender as well.

Daniel Smythe 6’1 2024 Orchard Lake St Mary’s-Bugsy is a joy to watch play and is only going to get better. You forget when you watch him play, he still has not played a high school basketball game yet. He is long and so skilled with the ball and has a great basketball IQ. He is a good shooter and is smart and quick with the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id="814679" first="Jacob" last="Oswald"] 6’9 2021 Brandon High-Had a great camp, was just a beast in the paint and scored well with either hand. Rebounded and defended as well. Ran the floor well and is skilled for a big man.

Ryan Breener 6’2 2021 Frankenmuth-Strong and skilled. Smart basketball player who can guard multiple positions and score for you as well. Rebounds well and will battle against taller players inside due to his strength. Shoots it rather well and can get to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id="863939" first="Derrick" last="Voltz"] 6’2 2022 Carrollton-DJ is extremely underrated. He finished his football season the day before, so he did not have his basketball legs yet, but he still played very well. He is athletic and long and really attacks the basket well. He can shoot it from the outside as well and is a great defender both on and off the ball.
