Four new players were added to the Kansas 2021 Player Rankings as small forwards.

The 6-foot-6 Schwarz was one of the highest entrants to the updated 2021 rankings. He earned honorable mention 5A as a junior. He was a leader on one of the most talented teams in western Kansas, and with the graduation of 6-foot-10 Dylan Ruder, Schwarz will play an even larger role next year.

O’Neil is versatile enough to be considered a small forward, power forward, or even shooting guard. The 6-foot-5 senior handles the ball confidently in the open floor, and is willing to pressure and penetrate on the bounce. He shoots well on the move or on the pull-up. He also works hard on defense and for rebounds.
97 Avery Bryson Avery Bryson 6'2" | SF Abilene | 2021 State KS , Abilene:

A smooth athlete, Purcell also earned honorable mention 4A. He showed for his summer club SSA Elite that he is a team-first, versatile performer. He can rebound and defend, and his jumping ability gives him an advantage against others his size.
