<p><strong>GHSA Season Preview: Player Rankings 2021</strong></p>
<p>As the 2020-21 GHSA high school basketball season quickly approaches we will breakdown each classification based on our updated player rankings, highlighting the Top 100.</p>
<p><strong><u>Class A-Private</u></strong></p>
<p>Nine seniors from Class A-Private are in the Top 100 spanning eight schools. Mt. Pisgah leads the way with No. 39 [player_tooltip player_id="806742" first="JoJo" last="Peterson"] (IPFW) and No. 79 [player_tooltip player_id="806777" first="Nate" last="Gordon"]. The tandem is a skilled inside-out duo with Gordon anchoring the paint and Peterson running the show offensively. The top ranked player is No. 5 [player_tooltip player_id="754239" first="Jusaun" last="Holt"] (Alabama). The 6-foot-6 wing really improved his creativity and jump shot over the summer becoming a hot High Major target. Douglas County transfer No. 24 [player_tooltip player_id="806725" first="Jaylen" last="Jackson"] (NC A&T) is Greenforest’s highest ranked player. The freakish athlete has tightened the screws on his offensive game. No. 35 [player_tooltip player_id="948589" first="Travis" last="Harper"] was one of the biggest stock risers over the summer. He holds multiple D-I and D-II offers. Another elite athlete, Harper is a smooth swingman that can score at all three levels. Region 5 places No. 28 [player_tooltip player_id="806722" first="Garrison" last="Powell"] and No. 78 [player_tooltip player_id="774846" first="Elijah" last="Williams"] while No. 70 [player_tooltip player_id="806756" first="Isaac" last="Brito"] is the second senior from Region 4, joining Harper. Prolific scorer No. 86 [player_tooltip player_id="948588" first="Jordan" last="Jones"] is the lone representative from Region 1.</p>
