There were around 110-115 players who attended the event divided into 12 different teams.
Players were from Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Washington.
Each team played 3 full games and the games were very competitive.
Here were some sleepers not previously mentioned:
2021
Amarei Hunter Amarei Hunter 6'2" | SG Desert Edge | 2021 State AZ (Desert Edge) (Pictured)
-A versatile guard has grown a couple of inches. He has nice body control in traffic and is a good passer. He is an active defender with a live motor. He smartly moves without ball and finishes off layups. He is a pest on the ball defensively and plays bigger then his height may suggest as a good rebounding guard. Although his deep ball wasn’t falling at his normal rate, I see him as a future 3 and D while he adds other parts to his game.
2022
Micah Wilkerson Micah Wilkerson 6'5" | SF Bella Vista Prep | 2022 State AZ (Mountain Ridge)
-An extremely athletic wing had some nice moments on the break. He gets to the cup in very few steps with his long strides. His skill is slowly coming with his catch-3 and pull-ups. He can defend multiple positions and is a stud on the break.
Pike Tancil Pike Tancil 6'2" | PG Willow Canyon | 2022 State AZ (Willow Canyon)
-A versatile guard can play the 1-3 in a pinch. His perimeter jumpers were clicking and he is always tough getting into the lane and scoring through contact. He also is a good passer and has a stronger frame.
DeOtis Nunn Jr DeOtis Nunn Jr 6'1" | PG Ironwood | 2022 State AZ (South Mountain)
-One of the top mid-range shooters in the class. He has a tighter handle and has the ability to create separation with his dribble. He is very confident and can rattle off shot after shot.
Josh McClanahan Josh McClanahan 6'1" | CG Eduprize | 2022 State AZ (Eduprize)
-Another confident scorer can score it in bunches. He has a quicker burst to get into the lane, but he loves to pull-up from mid to the 3pt line and shoot it. He made some plays for teammates but prefers to score it.
Jordan Stevens Jordan Stevens 6'2" | SF Gila Ridge | 2022 State AZ (Gila Ridge)
-A stronger wing was in a groove shooting the ball this weekend. He has a nice mid-range shot and he can euro step to score it in the lane. He is a smart and tough player and is a good passer plus rebounds well in traffic. He was hitting shots with range and adds more value for college coaches.
Matin Strong Jr Matin Strong Jr 5'11" | PG Valley Vista | 2022 AZ (Valley Vista)
-A strong upper bodied PG is a crafty scorer around the hoop and good on-ball defender. He is a catch-3pt shooter and is a sturdy ball handler. He doesn’t turn it over often and should be yet another good guard for the Monsoon.
Kenny Chamberlain Kenny Chamberlain 6'0" | PG Shadow Mountain | 2022 State AZ (Shadow Mountain)
-An athletic PG has grown one inch since last viewing. I clearly ranked him too low as I didn’t view him in over a year and he improved. He is a good passer and has a real burst into the lane and uses his athleticism to finish off tougher layups. He smartly uses the hesi to get to the basket and he is tough on the ball defensively. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get somewhere into the Top-100 on the next go around with a decent season, which would make him go up 70+ spots.
