Every championship team needs a floor general, so college coaches and scouts are always on the look out. We are searching for that difference maker at the point guard position. Let’s look at a few of the talented lead guards that will be at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250 Expo on Sunday.

Take a look at our preview of a few of the post players that will be at the Top 250:

[player_tooltip player_id="1055899" first="Ben" last="Chermside"] (2021, PG, Rochester Adams)

Chermside definitely deserves more publicity and attention as a prospect. The Top 250 is a perfect spot for him to showcase his game. Chermside can create for himself and his teammates and plays well off a screen.

[player_tooltip player_id="811109" first="Keyon" last="Menifield"] Jr. (2021, PG, Flint Beecher)

Menifield Jr. blew up this summer and he could have a huge senior season. Dark horse for next years Mr. Basketball? I think he could be in the mix. There may not be a better ball handler in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="1051883" first="Rafael" last="Murray II"] (2021, PG, Walled Lake Central)

Murray II has quick and smooth feet. He plays under and around his defender. Murray II has good vision, effectively seeing the post and getting the ball to open teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id="814589" first="Kentrell" last="Pullian"] (2021, PG, Benton Harbor)

Pullian had a great summer and should be reaping the recruiting rewards. He’s incredibly dynamic and explosive off the dribble. He can attack the defender going either way and has a nasty hesitation dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id="863964" first="Brandon" last="Schepel"] (2021, PG, Grand Rapids Christian)

Schepel is a talented player that should be seen at the Top 250. He has a nice feel for his teammates and can hit them on target when they’re in motion. Schepel could average a lot of assists next high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id="863922" first="Brady" last="Titus"] (2022, PG, Tri-Unity Christian)

Division 1 coaches that have waiting to pull the Titus trigger will want to tune in. For 3 years now, I’ve preached about this young man’s game and leadership skills. Titus is a winner, through and through.
