The new PrepHoops C/O 2024 rankings have been released! These are our most extensive rankings to date with over 30 players making the list. That list includes several players making it for the first time. In this article we take a look at the newcomers to the class of 2024 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="1022287" first="Khaman" last="Maker"] 7'1 C Desert Valley Prep (#2) - A surprise to no one, the 7'1 post man from Africa has burst onto the scene. Maker's pure hunger for the game makes him a difficult player to play against. He willingly challenges every shot and goes after every rebound. His rapid development in the past few months, has turned him into a player on the rise.

[player_tooltip player_id="1057906" first="Cole" last="Ellena"] 6'8 C Liberty (#9) - Ellena is a natural rebounder and rim protector. The young big man has recently added a nice low post game that includes a soft jump hook over his left shoulder. He will be adding size to an already large Liberty squad.

[player_tooltip player_id="1020436" first="Graydon" last="Lemke"] 6'5 SF Faith Lutheran (#14) (featured image) - Lemke is a smooth shooting wing. He is a player that will be running to the 3 line in transition quite a bit. Lemke joins fellow top 15 freshmen [player_tooltip player_id="986966" first="RJ" last="Whittle"] to form a nice young nucleus at Faith.

[player_tooltip player_id="1057908" first="Jaylen" last="Sims"] 6'4 SF Coronado (#15) - I got my first look at Sims recently. The long wing is a rebounding machine that seems to have Velcro on his hands. He's good grabbing the ball in traffic and has a nice quick first step that allows him to get to the bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id="1016606" first="Xaviel" last="Rodriguez"] 6'5 SG Coronado (#19) - Rodriguez is a shooter with a nice all around floor game. The rangy wing can drive the ball going to his strong side, but loves to set up for 3. He has good size for his position and with his shooting prowess, should become a prototypical wing player.

[player_tooltip player_id="1032085" first="Malachi" last="Richardson"] 6'4 PF Mojave (#20) - Richardson highlights the frontcourt depth of this class. The lefty is a low post bully that in other years may be considered a top 10 player. As it is he is one of the top young offensive post in the state. The 6'4 power forward has an array of moves designed to get his shot over or through aggressive post defenders.
