FAVORITE -- BROWN DEER

The Falcons are absolutely loaded this season and will be a strong contender in Division 3. Three of the top four leading scorers from 2019-20 are back -- [player_tooltip player_id="801138" first="Armani" last="Jones"], [player_tooltip player_id="804917" first="Mark" last="Wade"], and [player_tooltip player_id="804918" first="Jeremiah" last="Dotson"]. Head coach Jose Winston also added Wauwatosa East transfer [player_tooltip player_id="764118" first="John" last="Lovelace"], who could be the best player in the Woodland East this season.

TOP CHALLENGER - WHITNALL

Whitnall was a lot better than expected last season, finishing second in the league and winning 14 games. [player_tooltip player_id="761417" first="Danilo" last="Jovanovich"] is coming off a breakout year and the Falcons have their top four leading scorers back from last season. If head coach Travis Riesop gets a healthy [player_tooltip player_id="963147" first="Austin" last="Herro"], that could be a difference-maker as well.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR -- DANILO JOVANOVICH

Jovanovich led the league in scoring and rebounding as a sophomore, posting 20.6 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. A skilled, versatile forward who's a difficult matchup at 6-foot-6, Jovanovich can score inside and out.

BREAKOUT PLAYER -- JACOB DUNHAM

As a freshman, Dunham averaged 8.5 ppg. Based on his summer, he's poised for bigger and better things as a sophomore. A pure scorer that knows his spots on the floor and has an excellent feel, Dunham is one of those players defenders have a hard time getting him out of rhythm.

SURPRISE PLAYER -- MARK WADE

Wade did average roughly 12 points per game last season and has been a steady varsity performer for a while now. However, this kid continues to fly under the radar in the state of Wisconsin. A high-IQ floor general who can affect the game in many ways, Wade feels like a coach's dream as someone who leads by example, steps up in the big moments, and plays consistent game-to-game.
