2022 New Faces in the Top 100 Greater Houston pt.2

<p>As the new rankings have dropped for Texas class of 2022. Here are some new faces from the Greater Houston area that has cracked the Top 100 for the state.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1052158" first="Trey" last="Miller"] 6’1" PG | Concordia Lutheran </strong></p> <p>Trey comes in as the 75th ranked prospect in the state of Texas. Trey is a tough guard that has a mean mid-range pull-up game. He is one of the top on-ball defenders as well for his class. One thing that a lot of people don’t give him credit for is his floor awareness as he is a well-rounded point guard that will be tough to guard this year for the Crusaders. </p> <p><br /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1052159" first="Amir" last="Turner"] 6’2" CG | Cypress Lakes </strong></p> <p>Amir is a known wide receiver on the football field and currently holds two NCAA D1 offers for football. He comes in ranked #83 in the state for the 2022 class. He is a tough scorer and gets downhill aggressively and very quickly. He is athletic and can knock down outside jumpers. </p> <p><br /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1052160" first="Dubem" last="Muoneke"] 6’4" F | Cypress Ranch </strong></p> <p>This prospect comes in at #89 on the Prep Hoops State of Texas class of 2022 list. He is uber-bouncy and loves to play above the rim. His ball-handling has improved since last year. He is an aggressive driver and can finish through the contact despite much bigger a defender is. His outside game continues to improve and he is a force in the paint defensively with great timing on shot-blocking.</p> <p><br /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1052161" first="Chanse" last="Perkins"] 6’5" SF | TWCA </strong></p> <p>Chanse breaks into the top 100 in the updated rankings for Prep Hoops Texas. He has improved on his game from an overall stand. He is better at everything he does which makes him a great overall prospect. He currently holds one NCAA D1 offer on the table. He is strong and physical and I feel he will blossom later down the road in his career. One of those prospects who will have longevity in the game of basketball because the growth of his game is always overall and not just in one area. </p> <p><br /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1052162" first="Kevin" last="Destin"] 6’4" CG | Houston Austin </strong></p> <p>Here is a name for universities to get to know as well. [player_tooltip player_id="1052162" first="Kevin" last="Destin"] who comes in at #94 in our updated rankings. This prospect is bouncy and has a great feel for the game. His play makes the game look effortless at times. He can shoot the long ball and I’m talking NBA range at a high percent. Once he plays with a high motor at all times it will change his recruitment and his ranking overall. </p> <p><br /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1052163" first="Dayvaughn" last="Froe"] 6’2" PG | Katy </strong></p> <p>The last new face to crack the top 100 is Dayvaughn. This prospect is gritty on the court. He is the man on his high school team and does it all for them. He knows when to pick his shots and where his hot spots are on the court. Has a solid handle on the ball and a decent IQ. Playing with more high profile prospects this past summer should pay off for him in this season as he makes a push for District MVP. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
