In this article PH takes a look at the top Wing players in the class of 2022.
AJ Storr AJ Storr 6'6" | SF IMG Academy post grad | 2022 State #119 Nation FL 6’6 SF Bishop Gorman (#3) – The number 1 wing in the class has the athleticism and scoring ability to maintain this spot for a while. He currently holds offers from Chicago St and IUPUI.
Ryan Abelman Ryan Abelman 6'4" | SG Bishop Gorman | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Bishop Gorman (#5) – Not usually thought of as a wing player. Ableman stretches defenses with his ability to shoot wing and corner 3’s.
Shane Thomas Shane Thomas 6'3" | SG Durango | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Durango (#6) – Maybe as prototype of wing as there can be. Long arms, high level athlete that defends 2’s and 3’s. He holds an offer from Chicago St.
Michael Klekas Michael Klekas 6'3" | SF Elko | 2022 State NV 6’3 SF Elko (#9) – Multi skilled forward is one of the most underrated players in the state.
Donavon Webster Donavon Webster 6'4" | SG Cheyenne | 2022 State NV 6’4 SG Cheyenne (#11) – Good athlete that can get out and finish in transition.
Andrick Santillan Andrick Santillan 6'4" | SG Cheyenne | 2022 State NV 6’4 SG Cheyenne (#16) – Skilled point forward type that likes to make plays for teammates.
Sylis Gray Sylis Gray 6'3" | SG Bonanza | 2022 State NV 6’3 SG Clark (#17) – Good run and jump athlete that scores well in isolation situations.
Fredy Vargas Fredy Vargas 6'0" | SG Rancho | 2022 NV 6’0 SG Rancho (#18) – Good shooter with a strong frame. Vargas can also score around the basket off drives.
Torak TT Valosek Torak TT Valosek 6'4" | CG Incline | 2022 State NV 6’3 SG Incline (#22) – Powerfully built wing that imposes his will on both sides of the ball.
Andrew Lehmann Andrew Lehmann 5'11" | SG South Tahoe | 2022 State NV 5’11 SG South Tahoe (#23) – Sharpshooting wing that put up nearly 17 per game as a sophomore.
Marquise Johnson Marquise Johnson 6'2" | SG Trinity Prep | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Bonanza (#24) – Streak shooter that can score the ball from behind the arc and with his mid range jumper.
Frank Evans Frank Evans 6'1" | SG Eldorado | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Bonanza (#25) – Smooth scorer with the ability to finish in transition or create for himself.
Grayson Grinsell Grayson Grinsell 6'1" | SG Reno | 2022 NV 6’1 SG Reno (#34) – Aggressive two sports star that put up a season high 20 against Manouge last season.
Jeffrey McEachern Jr Jeffrey McEachern Jr 6'1" | SG Bishop Gorman | 2022 NV 6’1 SG Bishop Gorman (#35) – Glue guy with a willingness to defend. Can knock down open jumpers when left alone.
Carson Kingston Carson Kingston 6'3" | SG Fernley | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Fernley (#38) – Expect a big year from Kingston this season. Good athlete that can finish around the bucket. He also made 40 3’s last season.
Edward Rhambo Edward Rhambo 6'3" | SF Palo Verde | 2022 NV 6’3 SF Palo Verde (#41) – Physical specimen with good R&J ability. Two sport star that is one of the top cornerbacks in Las Vegas.
Tristan Scott Tristan Scott 6'3" | SF Democracy Prep | 2022 State NV 6’3 Spring Valley (#42) – Floor spacer who likes to hang out around the 3 point line.
Mike Smith Mike Smith 6'2" | SF Palo Verde | 2022 State NV 6’2 SF Palo Verde (#43) – Rebounder, and low post defender. that serves as a high level glue guy for coach Condron and the Panthers.
Kiante Atchison Kiante Atchison 6'0" | SF Cimarron | 2022 State NV 6’0 SF Cimarron (#44) – High Motor athlete that excels at the undersized 3 man position.
