Pangos All-West Camp: Top Performers (Pt. 1)

<p>Last weekend’s Pangos All-West Camp tipped off in St. George, Utah and featured some of the top talent on the west coast and some sleeper prospects whose performances at the event raised their stock.</p> <p>While I was not able to be physically in attendance at the Nets on Fire facility, I caught most of the action via the BallerTV livestream and will go through a long list of top performers, sleepers and stock raisers from the camp. Below is my first set of top performers.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"]</strong>, Farmington (UT) - The 6-foot-4 combo guard was the breakout star of the event, earning camp co-MVP honors alongside [player_tooltip player_id="680198" first="Reese" last="Dixon-Waters"]. Chandler is just an all-around high IQ basketball player who can create shots for himself and teammates. The junior has a smooth shooting stroke from three-point range and gets great lift on his pull-up jumper. Chandler has some pretty explosive leaping ability and finishes well around the basket despite his wiry frame.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="680198" first="Reese" last="Dixon-Waters"]</strong>, St. Bernard (CA) - The 6-foot-5 swingman is our No. 2-rated recruit in SoCal’s 2021 class and showed why that is at this event. Dixon-Waters had his smooth scoring package on display, complete with pull-up three’s and mid-range jumpers, along with his crafty mid-post game. Dixon-Waters is committed to USC and will bring a versatile scoring mindset to the Trojans.</p> <p><strong>Ring Malith</strong>, Renaissance Academy (CA) - Malith is a guy whose performance can be listed under both "Top Performers" and "Stock Raisers" categories as he was one of the better players throughout the camp and definitely showed he’s deserving of more college attention. The 6-foot-9 forward has some impressive coordination and ball skills for his size as he showed the ability to rebound, push the break and create shots for himself and teammates in transition. The sophomore has a variety of dribble moves in the half-court, allowing him to showcase his inside-out scoring ability.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1032938" first="AJ" last="Storr"]</strong>, Bishop Gorman (NV) - The physical 6-foot-6 wing has the type of game that translates well to the camp setting. Storr is a high motor athlete who thrives in the transition, open floor style of play that exposure camps offer. Storr has good strength, explosiveness and does a nice job of running the floor on the break to get high percentage paint baskets. Storr recently transferred in to Bishop Gorman from Kankakee high school in Illinois.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="787641" first="Milos" last="Uzan"]</strong>, Desert Pines (NV) - Uzan is regarded as one of the top junior point guards on the west coast and this event only solidified that statement for me. Uzan has all the tools you look for in a modern point guard to run your team. He has great size at 6-feet-3, a high basketball IQ, willingness to advance the ball in transition, and can turn on the aggressive scoring mentality at any time. </p>
