Even though he’s usually never the tallest player on the floor, almost always Omarion Smith Omarion Smith 6'5" | PF Douglas County | 2021 State GA is the best rebounder and shot blocker. He’s got an uncanny ability to collect caroms and is the state’s best shot blocker by a long shot. His timing, toughness and athleticism make him a premier interior presence.
6-6 F Deandre Smart Deandre Smart 6'6" | PF New Hampstead | 2021 State GA – AC Georgia – New Hampstead
The high academic forward brings grown-man strength to the low block. He lives on the glass and commands attention. Smart always puts himself in position to clear the boards. He’s emerged as one of Georgia’s best rebounders and most consistent dirty work guys.
6-4 W Kevin Taylor Kevin Taylor 6'5" | SF Allatoona | 2021 State GA – NME – Allatoona
If he’s not scoring, Kevin Taylor Kevin Taylor 6'5" | SF Allatoona | 2021 State GA still finds ways to impact games. He’s got a high motor and good IQ. Taylor’s energy and length allow him to play bigger than his size. I’ve always described him as a Swiss Army Knife. Whatever you need him to do, Taylor can do it.
6-5 W Rashad King Rashad King 6'5" | SF Evans | 2021 State GA – AC Georgia – Evans
A strong wing that plays extremely hard, Rashad King Rashad King 6'5" | SF Evans | 2021 State GA really clicked at the end of the travel ball season. He found is niche with AC Georgia as an energy guy that scores inside and out. Offensively, he’s a good slasher and offensive rebounder. King can step out and hit the open three to space the floor. His effort is what has really opened doors for him. Add on his athleticism and you have a plug-and-play guy at the next level.
6-5 F Kalib Clinton Kalib Clinton 6'5" | SF Jackson County | 2021 State GA – Game Elite Orange – Jackson County – Charleston Southern
Often overlooked during the high school season due to his team’s lack of success, Kalib Clinton Kalib Clinton 6'5" | SF Jackson County | 2021 State GA is the real deal. He posted 27 points and 10 rebounds per game a season ago and has been shattering school records. He’s quick off the floor with great second leap ability which helps him control the glass. Clinton does a lot of his damage in the paint and plays above the rim and bigger than his size.
6-6 PF Cole Middleton Cole Middleton 6'6" | PF Pace Academy | 2021 State GA – GA Select All-Stars – Pace Academy
Cole Middleton Cole Middleton 6'6" | PF Pace Academy | 2021 State GA is a road grader on the floor. He might be the strongest player Georgia has to offer or at least extremely close do it. He’s rugged with his physicality and can move anyone out of his way. He’s battled through injuries throughout his career but he hasn’t let that slow him down. Without Middleton, Pace Academy may not have woken up in last year’s state title game in which he was terrific going for a game-high 15 points in a defensive struggle.
6-3 F Greg Jones Greg Jones 6'3" | PF Warner Robins | 2021 State GA – Warner Robins All-Stars – Warner Robins
Another player that plays bigger than his size, Greg Jones Greg Jones 6'3" | PF Warner Robins | 2021 State GA mixes grit, toughness and some bounce to effectively clean the glass. Jones has some length as well and can dig out 50/50 balls. He understands his role and that he’s at his best when applying pressure to the interior.
