Under the Radar: Players to Watch (2021) Part 3

As the AAU season comes to a close, there are still many 2021 prospects that have not been noticed and may be considered “under the radar”. Listed below are a few players that I had the opportunity to watch throughout the summer and continued to impress.   [player_tooltip player_id="1015854" first="Bryce" last="Journee"] (6’4) SG AAU: OK PWP High School: Owasso <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13807769/5e8a3605b018b707684b9bc2">https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13807769/5e8a3605b018b707684b9bc2</a> <ul style="list-style-type: square;"> <li>Journee is a long guard that has a nice outside jumper and can also pull up from mid-range. He can get out in transition to blow by defenders and finish above the rim due to his leaping abilities. Journee is very athletic and can explode to grab rebounds and be a defensive threat due to his long arms and quickness. </li> </ul>   [player_tooltip player_id="938849" first="Curtis" last="Rose"] (6’0) G AAU: RSE Elite High School: Carl Albert <ul style="list-style-type: square;"> <li>Rose is an unselfish and very high IQ player. He brings energy to the floor and hustles throughout the whole game constantly looking for ways to make an impact. The 6’0 guard can get out in transition on the fast break and find ways to score. Glenn is able to isolate defenders and hit tough shots and or drive-in and finish at the rim. With his athletic abilities, Glenn can explode to get rebounds and push the ball down the floor on the break. </li> </ul>   [player_tooltip player_id="938848" first="Jaden" last="Harrell"] (5’9) PG AAU: RSE Elite High School: Carl Albert <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/10453675/5e7185ad4205f80c84bb0f5d">https://www.hudl.com/video/3/10453675/5e7185ad4205f80c84bb0f5d</a> <ul style="list-style-type: square;"> <li>Harrell is a skilled PG with vision and has a great feel for the game. This summer Harrell was able to find ways to put the ball in the hole and get his teammates involved. His blow-by speed and great handle allow him to get by defenders and get inside the paint to make things happen. Harrell can really pass the ball and is very creative around the basket when taking it in himself. He also has the ability to step out and shoot from deep which makes him a threat anytime he is on the floor.</li> </ul>   [player_tooltip player_id="1015846" first="Maven" last="Moore"] (5’11) G AAU: Oklahoma Chaos High School: Northwest Classen <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13743455/5e7905f84205f80c84bc755c">https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13743455/5e7905f84205f80c84bc755c</a> <ul style="list-style-type: square;"> <li>Moore is a quick shifty guard that can impact games in several ways. He has a tight handle that allows him to break his defender down and make plays. Moore has a nice stroke from beyond the arc, and can also finish in a variety of ways around the basket. He has very active hands on the defensive end also which allows him to get steals for breakaway buckets on the other end.</li> </ul>   [player_tooltip player_id="953751" first="Marcal" last="Johnson"] (6’0) G AAU: Drive Nation OK High School: Tulsa Rogers <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12248247/5e7ae6f0688eb809c0cc372c">https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12248247/5e7ae6f0688eb809c0cc372c</a> <ul style="list-style-type: square;"> <li>Johnson is a tough guard that is very aggressive in every game he competes in. He has the ability to knock down open shots from three, and use his quickness to get downhill and create for himself and his teammates. Johnson plays with a hunger that is rare and helps you to really see how much he loves the game. The Tulsa Rogers guard has a scoring mentality and can do anything you need him to do out on the floor.</li> </ul>   [player_tooltip player_id="953451" first="Anthony" last="Turner"] (6’3) G AAU: Oklahoma Chaos High School: Classen SAS <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/10532988/5e9a4039b534340c5c7e6a90">https://www.hudl.com/video/3/10532988/5e9a4039b534340c5c7e6a90</a> <ul style="list-style-type: square;"> <li>Turner was constantly putting points on the board for his team all summer. He is a strong guard that can score at any level on the floor. Turner can drive his way into the lane to finish or make a play for a teammate. He really knows how to use his body inside and get easy buckets or come down with a strong board. His ability to make things happen when the ball isn’t in his hands is what separates him from the pack.
