Prep Hoops takes a look at a variety of players from multiple states in this article right here. This past weekend Big Shots Rock the Rock took place in Rock Hill. The event featured no shortage of talent from top to bottom that’s for sure.

Kirk Pence - Raceland-Worthington HS (Raceland, KY) - WV MPACT (pictured on the front)

Pence has good size for playing in the backcourt. Pence is a high percentage shooter that doesn’t seem to force any shots. Pence was on fire today with Prep Hoops in attendance. Pence scored 25 points unofficially according to my scoring. Pence knocked down several three pointers and even got the ball to the basket attacking at times.

[player_tooltip player_id="934249" first="Shone" last="Webb"] - Hart County HS (Hartwell, GA) - Big Shots SC 17U Select

Webb a left-handed guard plays great in the passing lanes with his defense. Webb went over 1,000 career points last season as high school junior. Webb connected on some mid-range jumpers today along with some put-backs around around the cup. Webb has great length to be disruptive on the defensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="991220" first="Trey" last="Martin"] - Boiling Springs HS (Boiling Springs, PA) - Big Shots CPA SC 2022

Martin really gets good elevation on his shot. Martin can stop and pop from mid-range or hit a 3 pointer from downtown. Martin plays the game very smart and heady. Martin understands being in the right spot on the floor to receive the ball. Martin has been taking trips down all summer long to play ball with the Mauldin, SC area based team. Martin has great academics in the classroom.

[player_tooltip player_id="955772" first="Anthony" last="Davis"] - Bishop McLaughlin (Spring Hill, FL) - Big Shots Tri-Cities

Davis 6’5 has the ability to overpower guards heading to the basket. Davis plays the game downhill and has a great motor to back it up. Davis likes to play fast and has great upside. Davis rebounds the ball very well on both ends of the floor and at times thrives playing on contact. Davis moved down to Florida a few years back from Virginia.

[player_tooltip player_id="602673" first="Jacquez" last="Shuler"] - Oakville Prep (Canada) - Big Shots SC Premier 17U

Shuler will head up north with Richardson to attend Oakville Prep this fall. Shuler is really starting to make strides in his game especially on the defensive end of the floor. Shuler can actually handle the ball up the floor like a guard at times and is a above average passer for sure from the high post. Shuler seems to be best in the paint with his ability to block and alter shots on the defensive end. Shuler played this past season at Gray Collegiate.

[player_tooltip player_id="536323" first="Korey" last="Richardson"] - Oakville Prep (Canada) - Big Shots SC Premier 17U

Richardson is leaving and going to Canada to be part of the 2022 class now. Richardson played 3 years at Lower Richland HS for the Diamond Hornets. Richardson recently picked up a offer from Tulane University after his play this past weekend. Richardson a left-handed guard is best at attacking the basket
