Christian Cevis Christian Cevis 6'0" | PG West Morris | 2021 State NJ returns to run the West Morris offense, while Moorestown is looking to win its second South Jersey Group 3 title in three years. The guard play in Group 3 is strong, but there are also strong wings as well. Here are the top wing prospects in Group 3.
Logan Jagodzinski Logan Jagodzinski 6'6" | SF Moorestown | 2021 State NJ , 6’6 SF Moorestown 2021
The Quakers were a game away from making the South Jersey Group 3 title and they are looking to get there this season. Jagodzinski was the team’s second leading scorer and is ready to shoulder a larger scoring load. The 6’6 forward can handle the ball on the perimeter and is able to finish above the rim. Jagodzinski is capable of knocking down shots from behind the arc and is a good rebounder. His ability to affect the game on both ends makes Jagodzinski a player to watch in 2020-21.
Kyle Rolon Kyle Rolon 6'3" | SG Somerville | 2021 State NJ , 6’3 SG Somerville 2021
Rolon is a sharpshooter from deep and is ready to prove that he can score from multiple levels. The 6’3 guard has a smooth release on his shot and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Rolon has a nice handle and can finish around the basket. He is an underrated passer and can move his feet on the defensive end. Rolon is a skilled guard prospect who can affect the game in multiple ways.
Jordan Derkack Jordan Derkack 6'3" | SG Colonia | 2022 OH , 6’3 SG Colonia 2021
Derkack is a big-time athlete who loves to finish above the rim. The 6’3 guard is at his best in transition as he can explode to the rim. Derkack is more than just a slasher as he has a nice shooting form and shoots the ball with confidence. He skies for rebounds on the defensive end and uses his athleticism to challenge shots. Derkack is a talented wing prospect who should have a big senior season for Colonia.
Jordan Dotson Jordan Dotson 6'4" | SF Burlington Township | 2022 State NJ , 6’4 SF/PF Burlington Township 2022
Dotson may play more down low for the Falcons, but his combination of athleticism and size makes him a good wing option. The 6’4 forward is a rugged defender who does not mind mixing it up down low. Dotson is hard to keep off the glass and his motor always seems to be running. He has a nice touch around the basket and knows how to draw contact. Dotson is the physical forward prospect who should help Burlington Township have a strong 2020-21 season.
Starrell Hearns Starrell Hearns 6'2" | SG Patrick School National | 2022 State NJ , 6’2 SG/SF Carteret 2021
Hearns may be an undersized wing prospect, but that does not take away from his ability to attack the basket. The 6’2 wing is hard to keep out of the lane and is capable of bringing the ball up. Hearns is not shy of contact and knows how to finish over bigger defenders. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is a solid defender. Hearns is a tough wing prospect who should have a strong senior campaign for Carteret.
