He was more than impressive throughout the summer with BTR as he led the way in practically every facet of the game. A tenacious, multi-talented athlete with utility in numerous facets of the game, Roland's versatility is his selling point; he scored, passed and rebounded at a high level while being one of the best defensive guards in the state. His frame paired with agility made it an incredible task for opposing ball-handlers to get past him, and his 24/7 motor kept him in front for long stretches of basketball.</p> <hr /> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="1015790" first="Raul" last="Nunez"]</span> </strong>| <span style="font-size: 10pt;">Oklahoma Hustle</span></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="height: 21px; width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #f2f0f0;"> <tbody> <tr style="height: 21px;"> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center; height: 21px;">6’3" CG</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center; height: 21px;"><strong><span style="color: #0348ff;">Choctaw ’21</span></strong></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>If there ever was a winner in the 2020 grassroots season, it was Nunez. The shifty, powerful guard could defend the one-through-three with efficiency while giving out <em>buckets </em>on the opposite end. He played as devoid of errors as anybody in his division on a weekend-by-weekend basis, torching opposing teams while pulling up from well beyond the high-school line, driving to the rack, forcing the ball through defensive barriers and often playing the floor general role for Hustle.</p> <hr /> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="745358" first="Dalante" last="Shannon"]</strong></span> | <span style="font-size: 10pt;">Team Buddy Buckets</span></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="height: 21px; width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #f2f0f0;"> <tbody> <tr style="height: 21px;"> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center; height: 21px;">6’2" SG</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center; height: 21px;"><strong><span style="color: #021cce;">Edmond North ’21</span></strong></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>Shannon's unique athleticism generated incredible production for TBB on both ends of the floor. As an on-ball defender, Shannon was adherent to opposing scorers at a high level, matching up with and limiting high-major prospects from across the country in TBB's national schedule. He also starred as a ball-hawker, gathering turnovers and scoring at the opposite end routinely. Offensively, he was utilized as a slashing juggernaut with the potential to shoot from the perimeter.</p> <hr /> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="745370" first="Keyondre" last="Young"]</strong></span> | <span style="font-size: 10pt;">Oklahoma Swarm</span></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #f2f0f0;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">6’7" SG/SF</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #b60000;">Del City ’21</span></strong></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>Young blossomed in his senior summer, and his recruiting followed suit. He was a deadly scoring force for opposing teams throughout the summer as his tightened handles, improved vision and strengthen athleticism joined his long-standing perimeter shooting capabilities, making the 6-foot-7-inch wing an incredible task for defenders. He even starred in an on-ball role, at times, and his aggression when attacking the rim made it almost impossible for opposing defenders to focus their efforts on anything else, leaving his teammates open frequently to knock down shots.</p> <hr /> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="938864" first="Ian" last="Sluice"]</strong></span> | <span style="font-size: 10pt;">OK PWP</span></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #f2f0f0;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">6’4" CG</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #000fa2;">Metro Christian ’21</span></strong></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>You may struggle to find a craftier, more polished scoring guard than Sluice. He played offensively at a smooth pace, beating defenders on the dribble and converting on remarkably-distant shots from professional range. He made sure his scoring game was fine-tuned on a weekly basis, and he was a potent threat from anywhere on the court so long as the ball was in his hands. Between his mid-range, long-range and slashing skills, it would be hard to find a more reliable, efficient player with as vast an arsenal as Sluice.</p> <hr /> <table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="938847" first="Caison" last="Hartloff"]</strong></span> | <span style="font-size: 10pt;">Tulsa Hawks</span></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table style="width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; background-color: #f2f0f0;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;">6’5" SG</td> <td style="width: 50%; text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #eb0000;">Claremore ’21</span></strong></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>Hartloff routinely buried teams with outstanding efficiency from deep all summer. The 3-point bomber collected high-scoring performances with five, six, seven or more 3s in big-time matchups as his length allowed him to hit shots with contest, though it was his practice that allowed him to be so precise and efficient. Also a defensive standout, Hartloff gathered a surprising number of blocks, often recording a dozen-or-more rejections on his best weekends.</p> <hr /> <p>&nbsp;</p>
