Jersey Force Scrimmages Vol 3 Day 2: Stock Risers

<p>The summer is coming to a close with September being less than 10 days away. Prospects are trying to end their summers on a high note as the school year are starting up. The [program_tooltip program_id='2078569' first='Jersey' last='Force'] Scrimmages have been a great way for players to get exposure and face off against good competition. Here are the top stock risers from Volume 3, Day 2 of the [program_tooltip program_id='2078569' first='Jersey' last='Force'] Scrimmages.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900364" first="Dominick" last="Barlow"], 6'7 SF [program_tooltip program_id='2078569' first='Jersey' last='Force'] Elite (Dumont) 2021</strong></p> <p>Barlow has had a strong summer and continued that with his play at the Scrimmages. The athletic 6'7 wing attacked the basket hard and was unafraid of drawing contact. Barlow showed off his ability to play off the dribble and played well within the flow of the offense. He fought for rebounds on the offensive glass and played solid defense. Barlow is a talented wing prospect whose name should continue to rise with more performances like that.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1017710" first="Jordan" last="Derdack"], 6'3 SG [program_tooltip program_id='2078571' first='MSU' last='Skyliners'] (Colonia) 2021</strong></p> <p>Derdack came into the Scrimmages being a big-time athlete and he did not disappoint. The 6'3 shooting guard showcased his explosion with an emphatic dunk on <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900328" first="Rayshawn" last="Ford"]</strong> in transition with two hands. Derdack was able to handle the ball in transition and made a couple of nifty layups around the basket. He plays with extreme confidence and knocked down a couple of triples. Derdack is an athletic guard whose ability to finish above the rim could see his recruitment rise with more big-time performances.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900335" first="Derrick" last="Bueno"], 6'5 PF NJ Beasts (Paramus Catholic) 2021</strong></p> <p>Bueno had a strong showing at the scrimmages as he proved he could play inside and out. The 6'5 forward has a nice feel around the basket and used his strong frame to muscle shots through contact. Bueno showed off a nice release on his jumper, proving that he can be a stretch four at the next level. He played tough post defense on American commit <strong>Matt Delaney</strong> in the second game and fought for defensive rebounds. Bueno is a skilled post player who should see his stock rise with more good offensive showings.</p> <p><strong>Daniel Bills, 5'10 PG Prestige Patriots (Westfield) 2021</strong></p> <p>Bills normally plays off the ball for the Patriots, but he proved his ability to do so at the Scrimmages. The 5'10 lefty was able to get into the lane and has a good handle. Bills knocked down several triples during the game as he showed off his quick release and good shooting form. He moved his feet well on the defensive end and fought for rebounds. Bills is a tough guard prospect who is capable of making an impact at the next level with his ability to shoot the ball from distance.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1013002" first="Xavier" last="Ernest"], 6'3 SG Olympus (St. Augustine) 2021</strong></p> <p>Ernest is a gritty guard prospect who had a strong performance at the scrimmages. The 6'3 lefty attacked the basket with a purpose and knew how to finish around the rim. Ernest handled the ball well in the halfcourt and made solid passes. He is a good defender and made it hard for his man to get easy buckets.
