Players Only League: Stock Risers

<p>With August at its midway point, the summer season is officially winding down. Players are looking to improve their game as much as they can before the school year starts. The Players Only League provided prospects an opportunity to face off against good competition with only a couple weeks left until the start of school. Here are the top stock risers from the Players Only League.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="929528" first="Trevor" last="Bokach"], 6'4 CG Hoop Heaven Hawks Elite (Watchung Hills) 2021</strong></p> <p>Bokach was tough to stop all day as he was living in the middle of the lane. The 6'4 guard can break his defender down off the bounce and finish around the basket. Bokach is a terrific passer and he showed off his good court vision throughout the day. He played solid defense throughout the day and knows how to move without the ball. Bokach is a talented guard who should see his stock rise with more performances like he had today.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1035705" first="Trevor" last="Napoliello"], 6'5 SF NJ Stronghold (Roxbury) 2021</strong></p> <p>Napoliello was a marksman from behind the arc as he knocked down an event-high seven three-pointers. The 6'5 forward has a smooth release on his jumper and does not need a lot of room to get it off. Napoliello did not just showcase his ability to shoot the ball as he was able to put it on the deck. He fought for rebounds and played solid post defense. Napoliello is a sharpshooter who has the potential to rise up boards with more shooting performances like that.</p> <p><strong>Chima Okeoma, 5'9 PG [program_tooltip program_id='2078571' first='MSU' last='Skyliners'] (Plainfield) 2023</strong></p> <p>Okeoma may have been the youngest player on the floor, but that did not stop him from pouring in a single game high 27 points. The 5'9 guard is lightning quick with the ball in his hands and was hard to keep out of the lane. Okeoma is a crafty finisher around the basket and can make shots through contact. He has a good release on his shot and is unafraid to pull up in transition. Okeoma is a talented point guard who will be a name to watch in New Jersey with more big-time scoring games.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="931029" first="Chase" last="Clarke"], 6'5 SF Unity Legends 16U Gold (Newark Academy) 2022</strong></p> <p>Clarke had a strong showing as he displayed his ability to score around thballe basket. The athletic 6'5 forward finished a pair of emphatic dunks in transition, showcasing his ability to play above the rim. Clarke used his strong frame to muscle shots through traffic and is unafraid of contact. He has a nice touch around the basket and is an underrated passer. Clarke is an athletic wing prospect who should continue to have big scoring games for the Unity Legends 16U Gold team.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900368" first="Nick" last="Peltekian"], 6'0 PG NJ Panthers 17U Select (Mahwah) 2021</strong></p> <p>Peltekian hit the game-winning shot, but he had a solid all-around game. The 6'0 guard was decisive with the ball in his hands as he drove to the basket strong. Peltekian drew contact around the rim and hit clutch free throws down the stretch. He played tough on-ball defense and made good decisions with the ball in his hands.
