An update of the Class of 2022 rankings will be taking place soon and there are a number of players that will need to be added. Here’s a look at some of the guys who should make their first appearance on the next iteration of the list.

[player_tooltip player_id="1005079" first="Koa" last="Bacci"] (2022 Lake Oswego)

Bacci played JV last season at Southridge but will be at Lake Oswego this upcoming season. At 6-foot-8 he’s got size and he’s a mobile big man with a decent touch from mid-range. Bacci turned some heads playing this summer with International Elite.

[player_tooltip player_id="1005080" first="Damian" last="Ball"] (2022 Cascade)

Ball checks in at 6-foot-10 as one of the tallest players in the state in the class. He moves relatively well, has a few moves inside and has some presence in the paint especially on the defensive end. On the International Elite 16U squad, he anchored the middle.

[player_tooltip player_id="1005083" first="Ben" last="Cheung"] (2022 Valley Catholic)

Cheung got some time off the bench at Valley Catholic last year but should elevate into more of a main role. The 6-foot-3 wing is a solid shooter and has been working on creating off of the dribble. He’s also been training for one of the younger Taiwanese teams.

Caden Harris (2022 Summit)

A transfer from Mt. Si in Washington, Harris didn’t play this past season due to injury. The long and lanky 6-foot-4 wing was able to get into some action this summer with Oregon Prospects and showed some promise. He shoots it well and finshes well in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id="1005084" first="Marcus" last="Johnson"] (2022 Jesuit)

Johnson is an athletic combo guard at 6-foot-1 and should get his first varsity action at Jesuit this upcoming season. He plays with a high motor on the defensive end in the man-to-man and is able to score around the hoop.

Marcus Lee (2022 Lake Oswego)

Lee got some spot duty for Lake Oswego last season, notably hitting a huge three that helped the Lakers beat West Linn at home. The 5-foot-9 point guard is a solid shooter, has sharp handles, and is continually working hard to improve.

[player_tooltip player_id="967303" first="Spencer" last="McKelligon"] (2022 Jesuit)

On a team that lacked size, McKelligon stepped up with his sturdy 6-foot-3 frame in the lane. The standout tight end has solid footwork around the hoop, finishes well, and moves well within the Crusader system.

Some other names to consider:

Mason Ainsworth (2022 Marshfield)
Peter Burke (2022 Tualatin)
Carson Cox (2022 Summit)
Matthew Forsyth (2022 Marist)
[player_tooltip player_id="1005081" first="Logan" last="Jackson"] (2022 Hillsboro)
Thomas Johnson (2022 Butte Falls)
[player_tooltip player_id="1005082" first="Jackson" last="Knight"] (2022 Sunset)
Jeremya Miller (2022 Jefferson)
Dylan Neufeld (2022 North Valley)
Tane Prictor (2022 Mountain View)
Austin Ratliff (2022 Silverton)
Monty Swinson (2022 Marshfield)
Braydon Thornton (2022 Siuslaw)
