Preview: Big weekend of July Tournaments

<p>Another big week of tournaments in the month of July are on tap with Missouri grassroots clubs traveling through the Midwest. </p> <p><strong>Prep Hoops Havoc in the Heartland</strong></p> <p>The Prep Hoops Havoc in the Heartland will be held in Indianapolis from July 17-19. The Missouri-based clubs that will be participating in the showcase will be the Gateway Basketball Club (15U, 16U, 17U), the Gateway-Knights (15U, 16U, 17U) and the St. Louis Blazers (17U).</p> <p>A few of the top prospects from Gateway who will be in Indy are 6’9" forward [player_tooltip player_id="583712" first="Yaya" last="Keita"] (No. 8 in Prep Hoops Missouri 2021 rankings), 6’10" forward [player_tooltip player_id="994434" first="Sekou" last="Gassama"] (No. 11) and 6’4" guard [player_tooltip player_id="824117" first="Brock" last="Wakefield"] (No. 17). Gateway’s 16U team features 6’3" point guard [player_tooltip player_id="984512" first="Brian" last="Taylor"] (No. 13 in 2022 rankings) and 5’11" guard [player_tooltip player_id="984510" first="Drenin" last="Dinkins"] (No. 16).</p> <p>The St. Louis Blazers will also be on hand in Indy.
