We will be breaking down each conference starting with the Class of 2021 first to show college coaches who they need to be placing a value on heading into the year.
We will continue to go through each conference to try and hit as many players as possible with the hopes of helping these seniors-to-be catch the attention of prospective college coaches.
Kieren Nichols Kieren Nichols 5'11" | PG Knoxville | 2021 State IA – Knoxville
Unless you are a newcomer to Iowa high school basketball, you know about Kieren Nichols Kieren Nichols 5'11" | PG Knoxville | 2021 State IA .
The Knoxville guard averaged almost 26 points per game last season. However, when talking about the South Central Conference, you have to start with Nichols.
He recorded 518 total points in 20 games, adding in 86 assists, 58 rebounds and 24 steals. Nichols shot 47 percent from the field for the Panthers with 46 made three-pointers.
Nichols has received interest from Morningside and joined the Knoxville 1,000-point club this past season.
Blake Chance Blake Chance 6'4" | PG Albia | 2021 State IA – Albia
Blake Chance Blake Chance 6'4" | PG Albia | 2021 State IA ’s junior season ended with him joining the 300-100-100 club. The Albia guard scored 301 points, dished out 171 assists and grabbed 134 rebounds.
Chance also had 32 steals and even blocked 11 shots. He 40 percent from the floor and almost 71 percent at the line for the Blue Demons, who went 18-4 and reached a substate championship in Class 2A.
Dalton Stubbe – Clarke
With classmate Umar Bulis, Dalton Stubbe gives Clarke quite the formidable 1-2 punch.
Stubbe finished this past season scoring 268 points on 35 percent shooting with 50 made three-pointers. He also pulled down 131 rebounds, dished out 54 assists, recorded 21 steals and blocked 11 shots.
Brady Kauzlarich Brady Kauzlarich 5'11" | CG Centerville | 2021 State IA – Centerville
There is going to be some mighty fine guard play in the South Central Conference this coming winter. That includes in Centerville with Brady Kauzlarich Brady Kauzlarich 5'11" | CG Centerville | 2021 State IA .
Last year, Kauzlarich scored 266 points in 20 games, adding 110 rebounds, 57 assists, 30 steals and 18 blocked shots. He shot 48 percent from the field and knocked down 29 three-pointers.
Noah Zmolek – Davis County
Davis County’s Noah Zmolek was all over the glass this past winter, recording 190 rebounds. Sixty-three of those boards came on the offensive glass, as the Class of 2021 forward also scored 234 points.
Zmolek, who shot almost 50 percent from the field for the Mustangs, also had 29 blocks, 25 steals and 16 assists.
