We will be breaking down each conference starting with the Class of 2021 first to show college coaches who they need to be placing a value on heading into the year.
We will continue to go through each conference to try and hit as many players as possible with the hopes of helping these seniors-to-be catch the attention of prospective college coaches.
Anthony Potratz Anthony Potratz 6'4" | SF Keokuk | 2021 State IA – Keokuk
Keokuk won 16 games and reached a Class 3A substate semifinal last year behind leading scorer Anthony Potratz Anthony Potratz 6'4" | SF Keokuk | 2021 State IA .
Potratz, who averaged just under 16 points and also grabbed nearly six rebounds per game, helped the Chiefs finish second in the Southeast Conference behind only Washington.
He shot over 46 percent from the field and almost 37 percent from the three-point line, finishing with 382 total points, 136 rebounds, 48 steals and 47 assists. He made 44 three-pointers in all and also hit 74 percent of his 127 free throws.
Michael Alexander Michael Alexander 5'7" | PG Burlington | 2021 State IA – Burlington
Burlington will rely on leading returning scorer Michael Alexander Michael Alexander 5'7" | PG Burlington | 2021 State IA to try and compete with the top teams in the Southeast Conference this season.
Alexander scored 246 points, averaging 15.4 per game a year ago. He shot 43.5 percent from the floor and also knocked down 37 percent of his three-pointers.
In 16 games, Alexander had 61 assists, 52 rebounds and 26 steals, sinking 23 triples.
Brevin Wilson – Mount Pleasant
Big things are expected out of Brevin Wilson from Mount Pleasant.
The Class of 2021 prospect had a tremendous junior campaign, scoring 240 points on almost 59 percent shooting from the floor. He knocked down a handful of three-pointers while also recording 45 rebounds, 35 assists, 32 steals and 12 blocks.
Trashaun Willis Trashaun Willis 6'7" | SF Washington | 2021 State IA – Washington
Washington experienced with some different lineups last year, but it paid off with a successful season.
Now, the Demons are banking on returning starters such as Trashaun Willis Trashaun Willis 6'7" | SF Washington | 2021 State IA to help replace those that graduated.
Willis produced 195 points, 111 rebounds, 32 assists, 26 steals and 16 blocks a season ago in 21 games, making 15 starts. He shot almost 53 percent from the field, 44 percent from the three-point line and 69 percent at the charity stripe.
Isaiah Seay Isaiah Seay 6'0" | CG Keokuk | 2021 State IA – Keokuk
Anthony Potratz Anthony Potratz 6'4" | SF Keokuk | 2021 State IA is not the only returning starter back for Keokuk as offensive catalyst Isaiah Seay Isaiah Seay 6'0" | CG Keokuk | 2021 State IA also re-joins the lineup.
Seay led the team with 57 assists last year, adding 246 points, 91 rebounds and 41 steals. He shot over 34 percent from the field and buried 40 three-pointers.
