The class of 2021 is deep and talented, and there are still some players that may be flying a bit under the radar. We will look at some players in the class of 2021 that you may want to watch out for next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="983905" first="Jayden" last="Alfred"] (2021, SF, Mancelona)

Alfred may be from a small town, but he has a very large skill set. Alfred isn’t intimidated when going up against some of the best in the state. That strong mental framework is a large part of what makes him successful as a basketball player. Alfred is without a doubt, a next level talent.

Freddy Dunford (2021, PF, Canton)

The last time we saw Dunford on the basketball court, he was a 6’2" sophomore. After a year focused on football, he returns to the hard wood at 6’7" and 190 lbs. Dunford has the height, length, and athleticism needed to make an immediate impact.

[player_tooltip player_id="814646" first="Kwesi" last="Henry"] (2021, CG, Detroit Loyola)

Henry began proving all of his doubters wrong last season. He was a solid scorer, but can facilitate as well. He was effective both on and off the ball. Henry showed strong ball handling skills and a much improved game defensively. If he can continue his improvement....college coaches will be watching.

[player_tooltip player_id="980068" first="Dylan" last="Reason"] (2021, CG, Pinckney)

Reason is underrated as an overall athlete. He’s vertically fast, and a is a very tough player physically. Reason plays with an offensive mindset and is Pinckney’s go-to guy on that end. He could have a huge senior season.

Norman Smith (2021, G, Airport High School)

Smith is a 6’2" shooting guard that could surprise a lot of people come next season. He likes to put the ball on the floor and aggressively attack the rim. Smith is a fast player, with good footwork, that can play in an up tempo game. He’s a solid perimeter defender as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="980067" first="Jack" last="Williams"] (2021, SG, Ann Arbor Skyline)

Williams has been surrounded with big names and star power since he arrived at Skyline. I believe that he’s the next man up in the backcourt, and will make an excellent pair teaming up with [player_tooltip player_id="811116" first="Chris" last="Cayton"]. Williams has a pure jumper and a high basketball IQ.
