AAU Preview: Kentucky Vision 17u

<p>The Kentucky Vision program has been a solid name in Kentucky over the last several years, helping to send multiple kids to college each year. Their 2021 group has multiple solid prospects and has a chance to be pretty good. Jaz is a big time scorer who can get to the rim or knock down open threes. Over the years, Johnson has become more of a facilitator than just the pure scorer he was as a freshman. An underrated athlete, Jaz should be getting looks at the scholarship level for his scoring and playmaking and his ability to play on or off the ball.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>X Factor</strong></span></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="923065" first="Mason" last="Shirley"]. Mason can score or create open looks for teammates and should be on the radar of schools like Lindsey Wilson, Brescia and other schools in the area should be recruiting him. Shirley could impress this summer if he’s allowed to play with the ball in his hands for extended periods of time.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Potential Surprise</strong></span></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="986486" first="Tony" last="Moss"]. He averaged just under 14 points and 10 rebounds per game for Doss this past season and has potential as an undersized post at the next level. Most in Kentucky haven’t seen or heard of Moss in recent years but he could break out this summer and could make a nice forward duo with [player_tooltip player_id="923015" first="Josh" last="McGuire"].</p>
