As we head into the heart of the summer, I thought it would be fun to look into possible breakout candidates for the hopeful HS season in the fall. Either they will see their stock go up or finally get those much deserved offers for the first time.

I have 21 breakout juniors to comment about. (11 currently ranked and 10 not ranked)

Here are next seven potential breakout juniors:

No. 54 [player_tooltip player_id="933541" first="Ahmari" last="Moody"] (Heritage Maricopa)

-He grew close to two inches recently and is a smooth guard who plays like a pure PG. Good off the pick/roll, finds players in traffic and can pull-up in traffic from mid to the 3pt line with a little bit of an unorthodox shooting release.

No. 58 [player_tooltip player_id="936761" first="Nathaniel" last="Knight"] (AZ Compass Prep) (Pictured)

-He may be the poster child of a breakout candidate. Rated 58 but may jump into the top-25 by the end of the summer. He is super athletic, active on defense and can score above the rim and from deep.

No. 64 [player_tooltip player_id="827033" first="Nikko" last="Pentelute"] (Gilbert)

-Grew around an inch and his skill has drastically improved with his shooting from mid to the 3pt line. He is still tough, physical and will defend with high effort.

No. 68 [player_tooltip player_id="827016" first="Jason" last="Parent"] (Prescott)

-Another that is rated 68 but may go up 20+ spots. He is highly skilled from all levels and is sneaky athletic. Not seen often but is one of the best players up north.

No. 80 [player_tooltip player_id="827044" first="Easton" last="Reagan"] (Desert Mountain)

-Another player that grew two inches since last update, and although he may be behind senior guards [player_tooltip player_id="809732" first="Carson" last="Biggs"] and [player_tooltip player_id="809730" first="Tony" last="Elliott"], he will play heavy minutes this season and start alongside them.

No. 90 [player_tooltip player_id="827035" first="Shamar" last="Moore"] (Peoria)

-Grew two inches as well and his body is strong, he can score downhill plus make plays for others and shoot it from deep. He is a physical defender and plays a smart floor game. He will be very important to another hopeful 4A deep playoff run.

Not ranked [player_tooltip player_id="998975" first="Tomi" last="Stevens"] (Mountain Pointe)

-The sharp shooter from England turned heads a couple weeks ago. He has a sweet shooting touch from the perimeter and understands his role on the court. Look for him to come off the bench for the Pride and fire away next season.
