<p>In an effort to cover as much of the state as possible, we will highlight five of the top players in each region across the GHSA as we wait for play to resume.</p>

<p><strong>1. 2021 6-2 G [player_tooltip player_id="869578" first="Peyton" last="Daniels"] – Tri-Cities</strong></p>
<p>Vanderbilt-commit is one of the state’s best scorers. Accurate three-point shooter that doesn’t need much space. Has improved his playmaking every season. Shifty ball handler has added muscle throughout his career and now finishes at the rim with authority.</p>

<p><strong>2. 2021 6-5 W [player_tooltip player_id="754267" first="Will" last="Richard"] – Woodward Academy</strong></p>
<p>Showcased his versatility on the wing, averaging 14.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 steals. Plays multiple positions. Knows how to rebound in traffic. Led team in three-point shooting (51-161; 32%). Gets to the basket and powers through defenders. Scores from the mid-range. Contributes in a variety of ways. </p>

<p><strong>3. 2022 6-6 F Daniel Pounds – Forest Park</strong></p>
<p>Blessed with size and athleticism. Runs the floor and covers ground in the blink of an eye. Pounds the offensive glass. Can attack from the wing in spurts. Soft touch from 12-feet. Has room for growth with back to basket. Averaged 11.8 points and 8.6 rebounds.</p>

<p><strong>4. 2022 6-0 G [player_tooltip player_id="870187" first="Simeon" last="Cottle"] – Tri-Cities</strong></p>
<p>Great feel for game. Always impacts games even though he’s usually one of the smallest players on the floor. Scores from perimeter and can make plays when getting to the basket. Crafty finisher at the rim with deceptive bounce. Pesky on-ball defender.</p>

<p><strong>5. 2021 6-6 PF [player_tooltip player_id="869639" first="Julius" last="Lymon"] – Tri-Cities</strong></p>
<p>Strong forward that has battled injuries throughout his career. Rebounds in crowds. Finishes above the rim. Athletics and mobile for size. Does all his damage in the paint. Plays with energy.</p>
