The Non-Public schools in New Jersey have some of the top programs with elite players. Those programs have built some strong backcourts that can do it all. Here are the top guard duos in Non-Public B.

[player_tooltip player_id="850752" first="Simeon" last="Wilcher"] (2023) & [player_tooltip player_id="787669" first="Corey" last="Floyd Jr"]. (2022) | Roselle Catholic

Wilcher and Floyd might be the top in the state. The future Division I guards man the backcourt for one of the powerhouse programs in New Jersey. This duo is interchangeable. They can both play any guard position. Both Wilcher and Floyd handle the ball well and can run the offense.

[player_tooltip player_id="933044" first="Richard" last="Machado"] (2023) & [player_tooltip player_id="900338" first="Sebastian" last="Giannotti"] (2022) | Saddle Day River

This duo is another underclassmen pair that had a big year. They combined to knock down 78 three’s. Both players have the ability to take over a game from beyond the arc. Saddle Day River is in good hands with this group of young guards.

[player_tooltip player_id="850515" first="Justin" last="Glover"] (2021) & [player_tooltip player_id="850675" first="Isaiah" last="Griffin"] (2021) | Hudson Catholic

Zion Cruz is not at Hudson Catholic anymore. This means Glover and Griffin will have to step up during their final season. They are both midrange threats that can handle the ball. Glover is a dynamic shooter off the dribble and Griffin thrives in the lane.

[player_tooltip player_id="850499" first="Trey" last="Patterson"] (2021) & [player_tooltip player_id="850507" first="Noah" last="Harris"] (2021) | Rutgers Prep

Patterson is listed as a small forward but plays like a guard with great size. The Villanova commit is the top player in New Jersey for the 2020-2021 season. Harris was near the top of the state in both assists and three’s made. Together, they have led Rutgers Prep into the top five programs in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="900329" first="Marcus" last="Pierce"] (2021) & [player_tooltip player_id="901951" first="Daniel" last="Skillings"] (2022) | St. Joe’s (Hamm.)

Skillings emerged as a do it all player for St. Joe’s as a sophomore. The 6’5 guard was unstoppable when heading to the rim. He is a talented rebounder and finisher with a soft touch. Pierce was one of the hardest players to guard on the perimeter. He was near the top of the state in free throws made which means he knew how to draw contact with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id="900323" first="Donavin" last="Crawford"] (2021) & [player_tooltip player_id="901992" first="Braxton" last="Jones"] (2022) | Trenton Catholic

[player_tooltip player_id="850324" first="Jamir" last="Watkins"] will be at VCU next season so Crawford and Jones will be in charge moving forward. Jones was an elite spot up shooter from beyond the arc. He will do some big things out on the perimeter. Crawford showed signs of being able to take over games. This duo could have Trenton Catholic back near the top of Non-Public B soon.
