Colonial Conference: Key Returners in 2020-2021

<p>We continue our series of key returners by going through the Colonial Conference. Here are the key returners from the small, yet talented, Colonial Conference.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900297" first="Tazir" last="Cantey"] (2021) | Lindenwold</strong></p> <p>Cantey scored 25.3 points per game as a junior. He was the top scorer in the conference and did it from all over the floor. Cantey knocked down 47 three’s and got to the free throw line at a high rate. Cantey also scored four steals per game. Cantey is quick with the ball in his hands. He likes to push the tempo and knows how to get to the rim in the open floor.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="931024" first="Tommy" last="Mooney"] (2022) | Haddonfield</strong></p> <p>A 25-win Haddonfield team is taking a hit by losing [player_tooltip player_id="896460" first="Ben" last="Cerrato"] and [player_tooltip player_id="933724" first="Andrew" last="Gostovich"]. Mooney will be the top returning scorer during her junior year. He proved that he could score at all three levels. An extended role on the offensive end will be nothing but positive for his game.</p> <p><strong>Eriq Campbell (2021) | Lindenwold</strong></p> <p>Lindenwold was a 20-win team because they had the top duo in the conference. Along with Cantey, Campbell proved to be an offensive dynamo. He averaged 15 points per game as a junior. Campbell thrived in the lane using his size and strength to finish around the rim. He could also step out and shoot if need be. Campbell led Lindenwold with six assists per contest.</p> <p><strong>Isaiah Turner (2021) | Haddon Heights</strong></p> <p>Haddon Heights is another team losing their two leading scorers from the 2019-2020 season. Turner is the biggest returning player. He showed an ability to score in the post at a high rate. Turner has a smooth stroke from the outside but is elite on the block.</p> <p><strong>Damian Rawls (2021) | Overbrook</strong></p> <p>Overbrook was one of the top teams in the conference and they will have their leading scorer back for one season. He led the team with 39 made three’s and was a dominant defender as well. Rawls showed great quickness and anticipation on the perimeter. He will return as one of the top duel-threats in the Colonial Conference.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
