Sunday September 27th I attended Aaron Villa's first ever West Valley ID Camp at Independence HS.

There were nearly 60 players with six teams and I now go over all six teams. We move over to the

6th Team

[player_tooltip player_id='3710718' first='Noah' last='Campos'] Imagine

Another very good freshmen at the camp was Campos. He is a natural ball handler and makes smart decisions but he can score. He is very good in transition and will score with layups, he has a polished floater game and will shoot it with mid-range jumpers and threes off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2956838' first='Jacob' last='Cuen'] St. Mary's

A bigger guard or wing who is an offensive type of player. He is very skilled with a nice looking shooting stroke and a quicker trigger with some range from the three point line but can create a little for himself with layups and has a nice floater game. He may have a nice role with this young St. Mary's team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2964301' first='Jamir' last='Malone'] Centennial (Pictured)

A hyper athletic defensive minded shooting guard. He has a stronger upper body and quicker feet to defend plus he rebounds the ball at a good clip for his position and size and will score with offensive rebound put backs in bunches. He brings a live body with energy and does many little things without needing to score a ton of points to affect a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='3668358' first='Milo' last='Tamayo'] La Joya

A high motored power forward who runs the floor, can defend inside the paint and in space and controls the glass. He rebounds well in and out of his area and the lefty is a sneaky good passer. He scores it mostly off the glass on put backs and layups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146238' first='Victor' last='Vu'] Apollo

A highly skilled scoring point guard moves the ball like you should and makes good decisions and plays the right way. He will knock down open shots off the catch from deep but will also shoot it with mid-range pull-ups off the dribble. Vu should have a big year for the Hawks.

[player_tooltip player_id='3275578' first='Bryson' last='White'] Willow Canyon

A newcomer for me has a little size and can play some on or off the ball. He is a good defender who will rebound and score off the glass with put backs. He is a natural slasher who does not mind contact and will drive to the basket with his plus handle.

[player_tooltip player_id='3781395' first='Rashaad' last='Wilson'] Independence

An undersized true point guard who is your classic facilitator. He is very fast and shifty in the open court and can get past his initial defender and suck in the defense and find the open teammate. He will score with contested layups and is good on the break.
