WVIDC 4th Team

Sunday September 27th I attended Aaron Villa's first ever West Valley ID Camp at Independence HS.

There were nearly 60 players with six teams and I now go over all six teams. We move over to the

4th Team

[player_tooltip player_id='3218010' first='Jeremy' last='Bailey'] Deer Valley (Pictured)

A jet quick undersized point guard has real speed and a super tight handle. He is very tough on the ball defensively and collect steals and will rebound. He will score with floaters, speed dribble drives, threes off the catch and back door layups. He will make passes up the court on a rope and plays with energy.

[player_tooltip player_id='3781379' first='Jack' last='Corradino'] La Joya

A scoring guard who comes with some length. He is a good rebounder with two hands and give high effort on defense. He makes himself available to score inside with cuts off the ball and he will hit the three off the catch or off the dribble. A nice sleeper for La Joya should get a lot more playing time next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='3642626' first='Mekhi' last='Decker'] Copper Canyon

A newcomer for me is a scoring guard or wing who can dribble drive to the basket and score with contested layups, step thrus, bursts getting downhill and uses a nice handle to create separation to get to his spots. He is aggressive on defense to collects steals in the open court and was a nice junior sleeper.

[player_tooltip player_id='3589618' first='Madden' last='Flanigan'] ALA-West Foothills

A scoring guard had a good outing with his aggressive play. He will score with threes off the catch, mid-range pull-ups, he hesitates and get to the basket and can score with a little contact and he also made some nice passes to teammates. He will go into the rankings on the next update.

[player_tooltip player_id='2767677' first='Caleb' last='Sibley'] Canyon View

A true combo guard who is a next level passer. He plays smarty off of the pick and roll action and finds the cutters or open shooters. He scores with threes off the catch or pull, really quick first steps to the basket and will get downhill with his burst of speed. He is competitive on the ball defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2957459' first='Meqhi' last='Teutsch'] Maryvale

A wing forward who is athletic and his skill is steadily improving. He will dunk it easily on the break above the rim and has very active hands in the passing lanes and is a pest on the ball defensively. He will flash to the basket, score it in transition with plus body control, fall away from his defender and is a sneaky good passer.
