Preseason Player of the Year: 2027 Kale Bailey (Hillcrest Academy)

Bailey didn't put up the truly ridiculous numbers that Oscar Cline of Louisa-Muscatine did last season, but the Ravens also have a much better chance at winning the league than the Falcons do, giving Bailey a significant edge here. He's a highly efficient forward who can control the painted area on both ends of the floor.

2027 Kale Bailey (Hillcrest Academy): 17.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.6 steals, 63.3 FG%

The Ravens look like a pretty clear favorite in the league to open the season, in large part because of how good Bailey is. He's a dominant, efficient scoring threat in the paint who also provides some real versatility on the defensive end.

2027 Oscar Cline (Louisa-Muscatine): 22.9 points, 15.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 3.5 steals, 2.7 blocks

The Falcons won just three games last season, but Cline put up some truly eye-popping numbers, nearly averaging 23 + 15. A highly athletic, active wing who can do it all, he'll put up video game numbers again this winter for L-M.

2027 Ellis Hills-Carrier (Columbus): 19.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals

A long, lanky wing who can stuff the stat sheet in a variety of ways, Hills-Carrier is capable of taking over games on both ends of the floor for the Wildcats. With their top three scorers returning, Columbus could be a dark horse in the North.

2027 Holden Hughes (WACO): 15.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.2 blocks, 50.0 FG%, 38.6 3P%

One of the most versatile two-way players in the Super Conference, Hughes can defend every spot on the floor at this level and is an efficient three-level scorer. His ability to control the game on both ends of the floor is rivaled by few in the league, and if WACO is going to challenge Hillcrest at the top of the league, it'll be largely on his back.

2027 Landon Roling (Highland): 14.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.1 blocks

It's easy to see Roling averaging a double-double this winter for the Huskies after coming pretty close to doing so last season. They lost their leading scorer, so more opportunity has opened up for Roling this season.
