Preseason Player of the Year: 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='3218248' first='Walker' last='Bissell'] (Southwest Valley)

The league was hit hard by graduation, with the top eight scorers exhausting eligibility. Bissell isn't the leading returning scorer, but he's the top player on a Timberwolves team that may still be the best team in the league. He stuffs the stat sheet and impacts the game in a major way on both ends of the floor.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='3218248' first='Walker' last='Bissell'] (Southwest Valley): 12.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 3.9 steals

A talented guard who can play with or without the ball in his hands, Bissell impacts the game on nearly every possession with his ability to create quality looks as well as defend at a high level.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='3620652' first='Jensen' last='Waigand'] (East Union): 13.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2.4 steals, 38.3 3P%

Waigand, the leading returning scorer in the conference, is also a talented playmaker who dished out nearly five assists per game. He's also one of the most deadly shooting threats in the conference, knocking down over 38% of his 3-point attempts as a junior.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2610941' first='Ty' last='Rardin'] (Nodaway Valley): 13.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.2 steals

Last season was a rough one for the Wolverines, winning just five games, but Rardin and one other player on this first team were bright spots. Rardin will be the focal point of the offensive attack again, as their leading scorer and top playmaker.

2029 Kynzer Norman (Central Decatur): 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists

Perhaps the highest upside player in the league, Norman is coming off an extremely productive freshman year for the Cardinals. Following the graduations of each of the other top five scorers from last year's team, he'll step into a massive role as a sophomore.

2028 Jack Berg (Nodaway Valley): 11.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals

With Rardin and Berg returning, the Wolverines should be improved this winter. Berg is an athletic forward who competes on the glass, can score around the bucket, and gets his teammates involved.
