Westfield, IN — The 11th annual MSHTV Camp featured talented young prospects from across the country, giving our staff an opportunity to evaluate players across multiple age groups during the 2026 camp. Our eighth-grade and Class of 2031 coverage continues by highlighting some of the top scorers. This group found consistent ways to produce offensively, whether creating off the dribble, converting at the rim, knocking down perimeter shots or taking advantage of scoring opportunities in transition. Each player displayed a different approach to generating offense, with several possessing the versatility to put pressure on defenses from multiple areas of the floor. Here is a closer look at some of the top scorers from the Class of 2031 at the MSHTV Camp...

Kaiden Malone-Jones displayed high-level scoring ability from the lead guard position at the MSHTV Camp. He consistently put pressure on defenses with his ability to create offense at all three levels, getting downhill to finish at the rim while also converting shots from beyond the arc. Malone-Jones played with confidence when hunting his offense and proved difficult to contain once he found a rhythm. His combination of shot creation, perimeter shooting and finishing ability made him one of the more productive scorers in attendance.

Amon Pickens continued his strong stretch dating back to July with another high-level scoring performance at the MSHTV Camp. He has a legitimate case as one of the premier scorers in the Class of 2031, combining physical downhill attacks with advanced shot-making ability. Pickens consistently reached the paint, absorbed contact and converted difficult finishes around the basket. He also created and made contested shots when defenses took away his initial option, giving him multiple answers as a scorer.

Aden Railey proved to be a consistent scoring option at the MSHTV Camp, finding ways to generate offense regardless of how defenses approached him. He did a good job getting to his preferred spots and recognized when he needed to change his attack based on the coverage in front of him. Railey could counter different defensive looks rather than forcing the same action, allowing him to find quality scoring opportunities with regularity. His ability to adjust possession to possession was a major part of his effectiveness as a scorer.

Eric Sampson played with noticeable confidence as a scorer at the MSHTV Camp, finding offense both in the open floor and against a set defense. He was particularly effective in transition, where he attacked space and put pressure on the rim, but also had the handle and creativity to manufacture his own opportunities in the half court. Sampson could string together scoring possessions quickly once he found his rhythm, making him increasingly difficult for defenders to contain.

Timothy Woods established himself as one of the premier shooters at the MSHTV Camp, consistently displaying legitimate range from beyond the arc. His clean shooting mechanics and natural touch allowed him to convert from well behind the three-point line and stretch defenses with his presence on the perimeter. Woods was far from limited to his jumper, however, as he also found ways to score in the midrange and around the basket. His combination of shooting range and three-level scoring ability gave defenders plenty to account for.

Stay tuned for more from Coast 2 Coast Preps!
