With the high school football season starting to wind down and the basketball season getting ready to begin, it is time to highlight several dual-sport prospects to watch out for this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2289915' first='Cain' last='Price']-Point Guard-Stuttgart-6'3” 2027

The Stuttgart signal caller is committed to play football at Texas State University. He throws the ball with tremendous accuracy. He plays a similar role on the hardwood. Price finds his teammates for easy point on the hardwood as well. Price has the range to shoot the ball with consistency from all three levels of the floor for the Ricebirds. With football undefeated on the season it could be a bit before we see him on the gridiron.

[player_tooltip player_id='3450263' first='Delonte' last='Duff']-Power Forward/Center-Junction City-6'7” 2027

[player_tooltip player_id='3450263' first='Delonte' last='Duff'] is a powerhouse on both lines for Junction City. Duff is extremely athletic which makes him a great pickup for a number of teams on the gridiron. He has a number of offers from schools such as Oklahoma State, UConn, Iowa State, and TCU. Meanwhile, he is extremely active in the post for Junction City on both ends of the floor. He is a player to watch no matter which sport he is playing.

Ki'Onte Martin-Shooting Guard/Small Forward-Elkins-6'4” 2027

Ki'Onte Martin is a dynamic prospect on the hardwood or the gridiron for the Elks. Martin causes problems for opposing defensive backs with his ability to haul in difficult receptions. Meanwhile, he has no fear taking the ball strong to the basket. He shoots the ball well from all three levels of the floor and displays a willingness to grab rebounds on both ends of the floor. Martin was offered to play football earlier in the week by Northeastern State.

JJ Moore-Shooting Guard/Point Guard-Farmington-5'10” 2028

Farmington prospect JJ Moore is recovering from an injury but when healthy he is dangerous on the hardwood as well as the gridiron. Moore handles the ball well and has no problem setting his teammates up for easy baskets. He has the speed to cause problems for opposing defenders whether playing basketball or football. Moore will be back next season if not sooner. He is a player to watch.
